Lacy stared down at the carvings sadly, letting her hand trail over it lightly. L.E. Carved purely there from years before by her best friends mother, it almost felt as though she was intruding on the place. Her eyes ran over to where the initials C.H. was and she had to piece together where it sounded familiar.

Crystal Halass, married Evan Deaver through an arranged marriage and later was murdered by him, only know child being Rosie Deaver.

Of course, the tragic tale of Crystal Halass, Lacy had it scarred to her mind as she heard all the gossip and stories that were placed into history. She felt not pity, but empathy for Rosie, she desecrated better than what she had.

Her hand then trailed over to the S.S. that sat beside them, her eyebrows furrowed in confusion, who was a guys name who was friends with both of these girls? Who's name began with S? There was Sirius, but his last name was Black, so it didn't fit.

And then it hit her like a ton of bricks, making her slowly lower herself down to her chair with wide eyes, he had been watching over her the whole time. When Lacy first found out about the Magical World, he was the one to give her a tour and guide her to where she would need to be, he had been there and watched her and yet he didn't have the strength to tell her who he was to her?

And her mother, welcomed him into their house knowing who he was and let her daughter cluelessly believe he was just a mean member of staff at her school, she had been lied to. Who knows if the man she believed was her father even knew that he wasn't her biological dad?

Lacy reached up and brushed the tear away as she glanced around the library, hoping that nobody spotted her, thankfully they didn't. She grabbed her things in a haste instantly, wanting to get away from public eyes so she could hide away in her dorm room and cry it all out.

Lacy dropped her stuff to the ground after ignoring her friends in the common room, she heard the dorm room door shut behind her as someone else entered the room, she grabbed at her scarf and ripped it off as if it was strangling her, before she t...

Lacy dropped her stuff to the ground after ignoring her friends in the common room, she heard the dorm room door shut behind her as someone else entered the room, she grabbed at her scarf and ripped it off as if it was strangling her, before she threw it to the side and moved on to removing her shoes.

"Lacy?" A voice asked sympathetically, and she spun to see Sylvia stood there fiddling with her fingers as she watched the blonde closely. "Lacy? Are you okay?"

"That's a stupid question and you know it" Lacy blurted out, she hated the question since everyone always knew the answer already, they usually just wanted you to brush it off because they wanted you to act okay so they could. "I'm okay"

"No, you're not. You're fiddling with your mother's ring and you only do that when your nervous" Sylvia pointed to the girls hands that were fiddling with her mother's ring, and the girl felt a sudden rage when she looked down at her hands, before she whipped the ring off and slammed it onto the bed side table. "Okay, what did your mother do?"

"She lied" Lacy admitted, before she collapsed down on her bed, making Sylvia slowly walk over to join her. "She lied, my whole life. I believed he was my real dad and I mourned his death for years, crying on every anniversary and Father's Day, I felt pity for myself that all the other kids had their dads, their perfect families and I didn't....and then he wasn't even my real dad" Lacy felt Sylvia brush her hand over her cheek to brush away a tear that fell. "And then she paraded my real dad around from when I turned eleven, who does that?"

"A coward" Sylvia states with a frown, "a coward hides like that"

"And now I don't know what to do, I can't sit around and see him everyday without blurting out I know he's the one who abandoned me or something, I don't know....how could I? They hid this from me" Lacy rambled on and on, not worrying about her revealing everything to Sylvia, who nodded in understanding. Lacy lowered her voice. "My dad is Snape"

"What?!"
