"That was so hot" Theo breathed out after Draco stormed out. "Seriously Lacy, want to try and make out for a minute? See how it feels and such...ow!"

Theo was hit by both Pansy and Blaise, making Lacy let out a laugh before she sunk down into the seat next to Blaise, who wrapped his arm around her shoulders, bringing her head to rest against his chest comfortably.

"What's up with Malfoy?" Pansy scoffed as she folded her arms, probably trying to get further away from Theo on the other side, Lacy just frowned as she completely relaxed against Blaise, who had began to brush some of her hair with his fingers delicately.

"Whole world is a bit tipsy at the moment, Pansy" Theo responded, the pair not fighting for once. "You-Know-Who might actually be back and the Ministry are too scared to admit it"

"Cowards" Pansy responded sharply, "they can't pin all their troubles on Potter, it's clear that something happened because we were all there when he returned—when we saw that Diggory boy dead, Merlin knows how he came back"

"Maybe we should talk about something else" Blaise added into the conversation, knowing how much the subject upset Lacy, he continued to hold on to the girl as he sent the others a look.

"Sure" Theo quickly nodded, before he smirked over at Pansy. "You won't guess how many girls in bikinis asked me out this summer. OW!"

Lacy frowned when she slumped down in her chair, feeling the tense air of the Great Hall, it seemed to be worse than ever—the risks was higher than last year and everyone couldn't help but glance to over at Harry or Cedric's friends

Lacy frowned when she slumped down in her chair, feeling the tense air of the Great Hall, it seemed to be worse than ever—the risks was higher than last year and everyone couldn't help but glance to over at Harry or Cedric's friends.

McGonagal clinks her glass with her fork, and everyone's attention spins around to where Dumbledore stands ahead of the hall, waiting for his annual speech to start up the school year. Lacy nervously played with her hands as she caught sight of the random pink lady with an appalling hat, and...well, everything else she was wearing.

"I beg a few moments of your attention, as I have a few stray of terms announcements. Right off, our caretaker, the good Mr Filch, has reminded me for what he says is the four-hundred and sixty-second time that he had an annually updated list of various banned items, usually introduced by our humour experts, Fred and George Weasley.."

Fred and George stand up from their places and bow, as many other tables begin to applaud for them and their products, Lacy rolled her eyes at the boys with a faint smile on her lips, they always brightened any situation.

"...which are posted in an extensive list on the door to Mr.Filch's door" Dumbledore continues on, his eyes sparkling as he glanced around the hall slowly, "Also, we have two staffing changes this year. Professor Grubby-Plank will be taking the post of Care of Magical Creatures as Professor Hagrid is on...extended leave."

Lacy furrowed her eyebrows at that, she usually went to visit Hagrid and his beasts almost everyday after dinner, she wondered where he could have been instead.

"Additionally, we have Professor Umbridge, who has kindly agreed to fill the post of Defense Against The Dark Arts—"

Dumbledore was cut off by an high pitch coughing sound, which made Lacy cringe as she wiggled in her seat slightly, Blaise's hand grabbing her hand that was resting on the table in an attempt to stop her from being uncomfortable.

Lacy flashed Blaise a small grin, before looking back at the toad at the front, her grip tightening slightly as she recognised her from Harry, he had mentioned a weird and annoying pink lady attending his trial—and from the chatter between the trio, it confirmed Lacy's suspicions.

"Hem, hem. Headmaster, if I could address the school?" The short and pink lady spoke up from her place, the school watched her in shock.

Dumbledore quickly shook of his surprise and took a seat whilst inviting her forward, and so she did with her small pink pumps, that clicked every painful step to the front.

"Thank you, Headmaster. Now, how are we all doing tonight? I thought I would just say a few words. I am here at the Ministry of Magic's bequest, under Educational Degree twenty-two, which states that if the Headmaster of Hogwarts is unable to fill any teaching post the Ministry shall select one for the position"

Dumbledore inclines his head as many murmurs began to surround the hall, something didn't settle right and everyone could feel it.

Blaise squeezed Lacy's hand as he watched her conflicted face, before he decided to grab her waist with his free and slip her closer without it being realised by their housemates, Lacy just cling onto his hand as she leaned against his side silently.

"The Ministry has always considered the magical education of our children to be of vital importance, and the passing down of this ancient and noble art must be given to the next generation, lest it be lost forever..." she room a pause as she had walked from one side of the teachers stage to the other, and then she turned to the other way.

"Without progress, stagnation. But progress of progress's sake is to be discouraged, for our arts require no tinkering." And then there was that pause again, "a balance must be attained, the new and the old, permanence and change, tradition and innovation, order and chaos"

That's one way to word things, Lacy thought before her eyes opened slightly, the ministry is infiltrating Hogwarts because they're suspicious that Dumbledore is doing something.

"There are large changes coming soon, changes walking the fine line between order and chaos. Know only that these changes are for the best, and to prevent the destruction of our civilisation from its own decay. Thank you."

With that, she walked over to her seat with a proud and fake smile painted onto her face as she looked around the hall.
