Lacy struggled with what memory she tried to conjure up for a patronus, it had proven to be more difficult than she had given it credit for, Neville was being encouraged wildly next to her by Brooklyn, who Lacy swore was now dating Neville as they seems closer than ever.
The blonde haired witch held her wand up highly and said the spell out again, but again, the only thing she gained in return is the blue whisps that haunted her. Lacy rolled her eyes at the sight of other people getting it right, she didn't even know what was real with her family anymore and her friend group had been falling apart because of Umbridge, who was she supposed to chose a memory?
"Keep going Lacy, I'm sure you'll get it" Harry reassured as he appeared at her side, after talking to a few others, he stood next to the shorter girl with a small and encouraging smile on his face. "I'm sure you'll think of a memory soon enough"
Lacy let out a huff but nodded in agreement anyway as she began to think over her memories again, before she thought of one.
"Lacy, be careful!" Her father warned as they ran around in a field, he had been given a short break to go see his family in the midst of the war, seeing as he had gotten injured last time. "Don't want you tripping again, your mother will kill me if you get your sundress dirty!"
"Mucky" Lacy scrunched her nose up in disgust, the two year old only knowing a few words at most, yet she still seem to be obsessed with adventures even then.
"Yes, mucky, she will kill me if your dress gets mucky" Her father smiled, crouching down in front of her as she stared at the moving grass that was blowing gently with the soft winds of summer time. "What do you see Lacy?"
"Butterfly" Lacy grinned as saw a pure white butterfly fluttering away off a long strand of grass, Lacy didn't dare move though as she didn't want to scare it away.
"Butterflies are beautiful, aren't they?" Her father asked, "very pretty and free, I bet they go on lots of adventures"
At the word 'adventure' her head spun to her father who was crouching in front of her, and he held out his arms to her, resulting her in shaking her head. "I walk" She denied help, moving to walk without him. "Don't need help"
"That's right you don't" Her father laughed at the stubborn blonde.
Lacy swiftly rolled her wrist to the wand movements as she muttered out the words, a beautiful butterfly popping out and beginning to flutter around the room, and she let out a laugh and breath at the time.
"Very fitting" Harry commented as he stopped next to her, noticing the tear on her cheek, he quickly reached forward and wiped it away for her, snapping her concentration, making the spell stop. "Butterfly suits you, I may have to call you that from now on"
"Don't you dare Harry" Lacy warned quickly, and he sent her a playful smirk, making her reach forward and slap his arm and him to yelp out and hiss. "Don't hiss at me, it wasn't that bad"
"You're so cruel sometimes" Harry shook his head, before dust began to fell from the ceiling randomly, making the pair looking up only to notice the whole room rumbling, there was a loud bang by the entrance and the pair quickly walked ahead of everyone else to check it out.
Harry walked forward with Nigel who peered through the whole, before Harry randomly dragged Nigel away and covered him with his body when a loud explosion happened to the wall, making a gaping hole to appear in itself.
"You okay?" Lacy quickly asked propel near her, not waiting for answers as she glanced back at the door, seeing Draco Malfoy holding Cho Chang as a hostage, and she glared deeply at the sight of him, walking forward to take stand beside Harry.
