"I can't wait any longer, they should be back by now" Hermione paces around the room, her arms folded as she was waiting for Harry's arrival to the dark house they had been staying in. "They said they'd be back by now"
"Calm down" Ron instructed, grabbing her arms as he stood in front of her, their eyes meeting shortly as her features relaxed slightly. Lacy bit her lip as she glanced between the suddenly tense pair, and they blinked at each other before stepping back and moving on to something else. "They are late"
"Harry was probably just filling them up with a million questions" Lacy comforted the pair, choosing not to ask about their 'moment' that had just happened. "He is not going to be happy when he arrives, he hasn't been in contact with any of you"
Hermione sent the girl a small glare, "I know that, we weren't allowed to after all. Dumbledore forbid us from doing so"
"Since when do we follow the rules?" Lacy rose her eyebrow at the pair, folding her arms as a sly look came onto her face, as she knew that she was right this time, the look in Hermione's face made it better. "He'll be here soon, so you can all shout each other's ears off, for now keep away from mind, I happen to like my ears"
There was a moment of silence between the trio before they heard the sound of the front door being open, and they all stared at each other with wide eyes, wondering if it really could be Harry. And then they heard Molly's voice greeting Harry's loudly, they all instantly pushed up from their places and shoved past each other to try and make it down to him first.
"Ouch! Ronald!" Hermione cursed out when he had shoved her into the doorway, thinking she was Lacy, he sent her a small apologetic look before he continued to run down stairs to meet Harry.
"Calm down, Ron!" Lacy shouted out from beside Hermione, who ran in front of her on the old staircase that wasn't sued to being used. "Hermione!"
Lacy ran faster down the stairs, trying her best not to trip on the way down, when she reached the bottom she saw Ron clinging onto Harry in a hug, before Hermione practically shoved the boy off so she could hug Harry too.
"Lacy's here too" Hermione mumbled to Harry, pulling back to let the boy see the other friend who stood on the staircase with a smile.
"Lacy" Harry smiled, running forward and pulling her down from the stairs as he hugged her to his body, they ignored any looks they got from the others as they knew that they were just friends and that it was like two siblings seeing each other after a while.
"I'm sorry Harry" Lacy apologised as she watched Harry's features calm down after he had exploded on Ron and Hermione. "They said it themselves, they couldn't. Now, shut up before I make you"Harry gulped at that, deciding to keep his mouth shut just as a loud zap surrounded the room, making the group of teenagers to jump before they realised it was just the twins again.
"Stop doing that!" Lacy cursed out, throwing a newspaper at Fred's forehead as he was the one she happened to hit, she covered her mouth to laugh when he had looked so offended. "What are you guys even doing here?"
"Could here Harry" They answered shortly together, making shivers go down Lacy, they knew she hated when they did that. "Him and his desolate tones"
"Don't keep it in though mate, let it out" One of them said, Lacy glancing between them as she tried to figure out who was who as they had moved around again.
"Now, if you're all done shouting..."
"What to hear something more....interesting?"
"This is a stupid idea" Lacy huffed out as she rested her head against her palm, leaning against the banister as they waited for the twins magical ear to work, she didn't exactly understand it.
"What are you guys doing?" Rosie Deaver asked, causing the group the jump out of their skin, Lacy cursed under her breathe as she hid her head in Hermione's shoulder to try and calm her heart down.
"Listening into the meeting" Fred half-snapped at her as he kept his eye on the ear at the bottom of the stairs, Lacy frowned at the twin, wondering why he was being so hostile.
"No point" Rosie Deaver stated, "Molly put a couple charms on the door"
The Weasley twins cursed under their breathes before they began to tug it up slowly, much to Lacy's laughter, her head rising as she watched them all decide to retreat:
"How did you know that?" Harry asked her, peering with interest, Lacy nodded.
"It's because she's allowed to go into the meetings" Hermione quickly informed Harry, as he hadn't been there all summer, "but she usually chooses not to"
"And don't even think about asking her about anything, she never shares, we even tried to tickle it out of her" George chimes in to the conversation, "although, we now know she's not ticklish"
Ginny pouted at Rosie, hoping to get any information out of her, but the witch kept her strict face on. Lacy smiled at the friends exchange, silently shipping them together.
"Sorry, but Dumbledore, Snape and McGonagal have all told me not to say anything" Rosie quickly crushed any of their ideas, well, the twins and Ron's ideas.
"Snape's in the order too?" Harry asked astonished, his face scrunched up in disgust and confusion, Lacy rolled her eyes at the clueless boy.
"Git" Ron muttered under his breathe, causing everyone to agree with him, Rosie choosing to walk away as she was done with the conversation, Lacy just smiled at the twins, watching as they walked away from them all, probably setting up another prank.
"Most of Hogwarts staff is in The Order, Harry" Lacy explained with a smile, and the boy sent her a nod of acknowledgment.
