Lacy sighed as she rested her hand gently against her baby bump. "Just one more month to go, can't wait to meet you....Alissa? No....that doesn't seem right" she shook her head as she tried to come up with a baby name, they had decided to keep the gender a secret so that it would be even better. There had already been numerous bets placed between friends, while Lacy felt that it was a girl, Blaise wanted a boy as he was afraid that he wouldn't do well with a girl. "Your dad thinks that he's smart and you're a boy, but I know my own daughter and I know you're going to prove him wrong" she sighed once again and leaned back against the couch, she couldn't see her feet anymore and there was swelling and aching everywhere. "I just hope you're safe and healthy...."
"I want to be right and earn a few gallons" Theo chimed as he entered the room randomly, and Lacy sat up slightly in confusion as to how he had gotten into their house, before he held up a key proudly. "I made a copy"
"Is it worrying that it doesn't stress me out? That it seems normal?" Lacy quizzed back, leaning against the couch again and sighing as she tried to close her eyes and relax her body slightly. "My feet hurt!"
"Let me help you out, mama" Theo teases her with the name, before he sat down on the foot stool near her and picked up one of her feet and began to rub it gently, making her sigh. "We all know I'm the best uncle already, my gorgeous niece is going to prove them all wrong and make me some money that I'll spoil her with when she's old enough"
Theo had chosen to be on Lacy's side, claiming that the girl was never wrong and that his uncle intuition was saying that the baby was obviously a girl, plus, he liked the idea of winning against not only Blaise, but Pansy and Charlotte. Draco and Sylvia had agreed with Lacy as well, although they were more mature about it and didn't speak of the bet in front of Lacy—even if they had placed their own.
"Are you trying to steal my love, Theo?" Blaise entered the house with a raised eyebrow, seeing his wife's foot being rubbed by Theo, he was just glad that she looked peaceful, which was unusual around Theo. "I have some news" He broke the real reason.
"Is this why your home early? What's wrong?" Lacy instantly asked, her eyes opening wide and her body forcing itself to sit up as she placed her hand on her bump, Theo dropping his hands as he glanced at Blaise.
"Nothings wrong, in fact..." Blaise trailed off slightly, before he walked over to his wife's place on the couch and grabbed her hands gently. "Your theory worked, they remember"
Lacy shoved the doors open quickly in St.Mugo's, her heart was racing as she paused what energy was left in her to let her rages search around erratically for where her mother and uncle could be, Hermione would be on her way to see her own parents without a doubt, but she couldn't focus on anything but her mother in that moment. It had been almost 5 years since she had erased their memories so they'd be safe from the clutches of death eaters and their leader, and now she had figured a way to get them back and it had worked.
"Lacy, darling!" Someone yelled, and her head spin around to see her mother stood up with a wide smile written away on her face, her proud eyes shinning down at her familiar daughter. Her daughter was stood before her very eyes, with a wedding ring and baby bump as well. "Lacy!" She said again, snapping Lacy out of her daydream.
"Mum!" Lacy shouted back to Ruth, running full speed towards her mother as tears flooded in her eyes and a chocked laugh came from her throat. Their arms entwined around each other's body and they both let out loud sighs, feeling at peace for the first time in years.
"Safe some for me, Ruth, you're so selfish" another voice groaned and sarcastically, their tone teasing just as someone else began to pant behind Lacy, her husband had finally just caught up to her fast pace.
"Manners, Zachary!" Ruth bit back as she pulled away from her daughter, before smiling down at the girl and the baby bump. "Oh, I'm a grandmother....."
"I think it's a girl" Lacy grins, and Blaise shakes his head quickly in denial as he wraps his arm around her waist and softly begins to rub circles on her back to help with her pains.
"It's a boy" Blaise countess, as Ruth clasps her hands together quickly and sighs happily, it was the happy ending she had always wanted for her daughter.
"Where is my hug already?" Her uncle Zach killed the mood, making Ruth turn around and slap him accords the back of the head, reaching the spot that only women seemed to find so easily. "Ow! Jesus, Ruth!"
