"Mud-bloods" Alecto Carrow sneered as she stated the word, she treated it as though it was vermin. Muggle studies was no a mandatory lesson that everyone had to go to. "They stole our land, killed our mind, hunted us down....like we were nothing but mere dogs. They had us all hanged and burnt to the stake." She was walking up and down in front of the board as Lacy was clinging on to her table with a small look of disgust as the professor spoke so ill of muggles. "We had to hide in the shadows like the ministry told us to, not allowed to even walk and reveal ourselves like we were some blood-sucking half-blood" she smirked over at the table where Gould and Crabbe sat, they were clearly proud to be joining the Death Eaters. "Aren't we all a bit tired of pretending that we're cowards? Letting them walk around like little ants just waiting to be squashed under our boots?"
Lacy hates every word she spoke, she wanted to curse out a bunch of hexes but she knew that she'd only drag herself and anyone who'd be willing to help her into more complications and danger.
"We should fight back, no?" She continued, before her nose wrinkled again. "Some may have taught you that it is okay to...mix with these creatures, have plenty of offspring, even get with some half-blooded creatures as well" she sneers horribly, "like werewolves, vampires or even giants"
Brooklyn was clinging on to Neville's hand to keep him grounded to his chair, she didn't want him jump up and screaming out at the teacher, she couldn't handle it if he was pulled away, even if his actions would be just.
"It's disturbing to see the list of...teachers that the old bag had placed on his school" She states, sighing fakely. "You should all feel greatful that we came in and helped save you from that crazy man, he would have you under some fake reality, of mudbloods, half-breeds...it's....disgusting"
"How dare you?!" Neville exclaimed as he stood up from his seat, he had had enough of the woman's chattering. "Albus Dumbledore was the greatest wizard that ever lived and he was right to teach us those things! Because we are just as much as human as the rest of them!" Neville shouted at the woman who scowled at him quickly.
Lacy placed her hand up in the air quickly, needing to get her friend out of trouble as soon as possible. "Yes, Ms.Williams?" The Carrow woman snatched her attention away from the boy who was steaming.
"Would you like me to take him to McGonagall or Professor Snape, Ms.Carrow?" Lacy played the part well, that was certain.
The Carrow woman grinned greedily, "Snape sounds like an excellent suggestion, take him right away" she eagerly gestured with her hands, Lacy nodded politely before she took ahold of Neville's arm and guided him outside and away from the nasty woman who considered herself above muggleborns and halfbloods.
"Why did you do that?" Neville asked in a small voice when they reached an empty hallway. "You could have gotten in to trouble too"
"We're friends Neville, we have each other's back" She reassured as she let go of his arm and instead walked beside him. "Go wait in the Room Of Requirement until the lesson was supposed to end" she gestured down the empty hallway where the door usually revealed itself, he looks back at her in shock, not even realising what she was doing. "I have to speak to Snape before the Carrow does, make sure he gives you lines with McGonagall or something"
"Thank you" Neville quickly said, running down the empty hallway towards the Room Of Requirements as Lacy waited until she could no longer see him, biting her lip as she tried to get rid of her nerves.
