"So, how's the try-outs going?" Theo landed beside Sylvia and Lacy at the Gryffindor table. "Have they picked out the teams yet?"
Sylvia let out a scoff before she pushed his eager head away from her, "you're not gaining any knowledge from us today Theo, nice try though. You're team is just going to have to loose" She stuck her tongue out for extra measure as Lacy let out an airy laugh at them both. "What have you losers even trying to pull? You're the worst spy ever"
"Had to start somewhere" Theo shrugs it all if and then glanced at kacy with an innocent smile on his face, she quickly shakes her head, which leads him to drop the smile and look back at Sylvia. "Can't say I didn't try now, so no more if any of that" he grind, before he grabs a piece of bacon off of Lacy's plate, who doesn't flinch or anything about it and instead, she grabs a blueberry muffin to nibble on.
"You two gave gotten way too comfortable with each other, people must think you're dating" Sylvia says with a cringe as she watches Theo reach forward slightly, Lacy holding her muffin out for him to take a bite out of it, wiping some that got on the corner of his mouth. "It's gross"
"We're not dating, just best friends" Theo corrects, before he swoops forward and tries to grab food off Sylvia's plate, which she slapped away harshly. "Ow! This is why I never try to take your food! Lacy's nice!"
"Lacy needs to stop treating you like a baby" Sylvia shot back, lifting the food that Theo had tried to grab up to her mouth as she smirked.
"I do not baby him!" Lacy argued, and Sylvia rose an eyebrows as she began to recite all the times she had babied him. "Sylvia!" She hissed at the girl.
"Don't forget the time when he had tried to ride a bike for the first time and you strapped that helmet to his head and carried a first-aid kit around, practically carrying him when he had bruised his knee. And then—"
"Hi Hagrid!" Lacy grinned as she greeted the half-giant, who immediately smiled back at the blonde haired witch who had come to see him and the poorlocks today. "I brought us some pastries that my mum sent over for us to have for lunch" she stated as she held on to her bag."Sounds great t'me Lacy, we best be off then....it's around their feedin time" Hagrid launched a pile of food onto his shoulder and gestured for Lacy to walk ahead of him into the Forbidden Forest, Lacy grinned at his chivalry before she set off, ready to meet to shy creatures.
"Where's Brooklyn? I thought she was coming to help out?" Lacy tilted her head slightly, asking where her new friend was. Since most of the old classes didn't keep Care Of Magical Creatures in their options, it left Brooklyn and Lacy to bonding over the class together—quickly becoming Hagrid's favourite stupid as they were the most passionate students in the class.
"She said she'd meet us there, somethin bout Neville's plant?" Hagrid seemed just as confused as Lacy, they didn't know much about herbology, but Brooklyn had learnt the majority of it so she knew what Neville was talking about.
"Sounds good, I wouldn't want to evolve further friendships with Clyde without Brooklyn, she'll get really jealous" Lacy spoke softly as she climbed over a giant log, still holding on to her bag closely. "She'll never forgive, especially after what happened with those cute salamanders"
