Okayy, there are definitely going to be some more chapters, but I'm in my exam year, and I have MANY extra classes that school makes us do bc Covid

"Okay," I whispered to myself, "let's do this." I observed the field, and my eyes fell on the girl with the two buns. Her walk was different than usual, and she was slightly slower as well. I realized that there was something going on with her left leg, and decided to take advantage of it. I made sure that Jude could play the ball to me, but he didn't. Nobody did. "Guys, what the hell!" I clenched my jaws, I had to get the ball myself if they didn't let me. "Hey," Scotty whined when I took the ball away from him, and the aliens were as confused as he was. I easily broke the defense by running past the injured girl, but now I was alone with three other defenders. I glanced to my left and saw Zel with his smug smile. "Looks like you're trapped, human," he taunted. I had to force myself not to slap him and decided to put all of my angry energy in a shot.
"Ooh, what is happening? Is DiLauris going to shoot from that far? There are three defenders around her, is she mad?" I sighed when I heard Chester scream through his microphone, but it had something encouraging. For a second I felt like we were playing a normal game, and I took the shot with confidence. It was a normal Maleficent, but more powerful. I gasped when it pushed one of the aliens in the goal, making it impossible for Dvalin to stop it.
"Goal! Rhona did it again, she shocked all the spectators who are forced to watch." I expected the team to be happier, but they just glared at me. "What's the matter?" Jude raised his brows. "What's the matter? You took the ball from a teammate, crossed the field by yourself, and blasted someone in the goal," he hissed. "Oh, I'm sorry mister know-it-all, why don't you score then?" He rolled his eyes. "Come on guys," Mark yelled from the other side of the field, "we're a team." I stuck my tongue out and walked back to my position.
I watched how Aphrodi scored with an impressive God Knows, after using Heaven's time. Drink or no drink, he was still superior. I had to be honest with myself, I was playing terrible. I missed, I got distracted and most importantly, all my attempts at teamwork failed. My passes missed and even the Butterfly shot didn't work. "That's the matter," Jude shouted from the other half with a sarcastic voice. "Fuck you!"
"Stop it," I whined when Mark threw me off of the field by force, "I can play." I sighed and sat down on the side. "I'm screwing things up, what's wrong with me," I whispered. "You're just having a bad day," Sylvia comforted, but it didn't really help. My thoughts went back to my boyfriend, and I wondered how he was feeling. Was he being tortured? Or worse, what if they killed him? "Stop overthinking, it's not going to help us get our alien back," Nelly mumbled. I laid down on the grass. "There is nothing I can do about it, how do you expect me to stop thinking about it?" I stared back at the field, and to my shock, I saw that Nathan participated in the Butterfly shot. It was almost invisible since the wings were made out of the wind. But they scored again, and I felt some hope. "Yes guys, that's it," Celia cheered.
The team had improved after they replaced me. I did make the 3-1, but now it was a tie, and we had an actual chance to win. It was unusual for Dvalin to allow so many goals, and I couldn't help but feel like there was something wrong. It was as if he couldn't focus. He stared at the ground when the ball wasn't closed. Zel was also not at his best today, his shots were weak. "What's up with them," I asked Nelly softly. "I don't know, but we're going to take advantage of it."
We were supposed to be happy, but when Aphrodi made the 3-4 and didn't get threatened, the mood changed. "Oh my God, they want to lose," I whispered. "You think so?" I nodded.
"Do you really think that the aliens are playing to lose?" My eyes grew big when Chester shouted those words with the mic still on, and everybody stared at us. "Idiot," Nelly hissed. Mark looked at Dvalin. "Is that true?" And then the cold alien became a human. "I may not like the Earthlings, and I only accept Janus, but he was my friend. I just realized that too late, I'm afraid." My mouth fell open. "What are you doing Dvalin," Zel asked shocked. "What we should've done years ago when we had to hurt Gemini Storm. I'm quitting."
There was a killing silence.
"Okay then," I said slowly, "That is great. But where does this come from?" I stared into his guilty, red eyes, but he ignored my question. "He's brought to The Round Schoolhouse, but I don't know what that means." Shawn gasped. "It's an abandoned building in Hokkaido, people claim it's haunted." I frowned. "No wonder, there are aliens there." Mark sighed. "But that's on the other side of Japan," he said to himself. "If only there was someone with access to an alien plane," Dvalin said with a smirk. He shot the black ball in the air, and it turned into a spaceship, floating in the sky. "Cool," Jack and Todd mumbled.
We had to walk on a ladder to get in, and I was a second away from pissing my pants. It was at least thirty meters high, and we had to stand still for ten minutes because Jack was too scared to continue. Then Dvalin just shot him up with the ball. I touched all the unfamiliar technology.
"What's this," Mark asked and he pointed at a glass ball with a purple glow. "It powers this plane, don't touch it," Zel hissed. "And this?" Jack sighed. "Captain that's clearly the gas pedal," he laughed. I saw Zel pinch his nose bridge, and I laughed. "And this?" Todd continued.
"That my, human, is a coffeemaker."
I sat down on one of the chairs and saw that I had twenty-one missed calls from our coach. "What is up coach," I said enthusiastically when I called back. "Where are you?" Her cold voice made me shiver. "You are never going to believe it," I replied carefully. "If it's related to anything Alius, you're in trouble." I chuckled nervously. "Well... What if I told you that we're on a spaceship? With Epsilon, how funny is that?" It was quiet for a second or so.
"You're on a plane with eleven school-destroying aliens," she stated, "that's not funny Rhona. Not even in the slightest. I'm gonna call you parents, everyone's parents." I gasped. "No!" I heard a beep and realized that she hung up. I looked up from my phone, and the team glared at me.
"She's calling our parents, isn't she?" I stared out of the window. "Wow, what a view," I tried. "Don't change the subject, we're furious," Nelly bitched. "I'm sorry, okay?"
The mood was tense. It was hard to fully trust the aliens, and we were about to enter an alien base. The ship landed, and I felt nauseous.
"You look sick," Nathan pointed out. "Well thank you." He rolled his eyes. "It'll be fine, have we ever lost from the aliens?" I spit out my alien coffee when Nathan said those words. "Are you kidding? We lost more than we won." Mark joined the conversation. "Don't worry, with trust and teamwork, we'll manage." My mind drifted off during his speech, and I started to wonder what they could be doing to Jordan.
"Wow, that's a scary building," Jack stuttered. I followed his gaze to the round building, surrounded by a purple glow. "I suppose that this is it," I mumbled. "Fan-fucking-tastic." I zipped my coat up, I hated Hokkaido's temperature. "Please let our next stop be an island," I prayed, and Nathan laughed. "Come on, let's g-" We ducked behind a fallen tree when we saw a guard. He had the weirdest white suit on, and a metal helmet that covered his whole face. "Is anyone else getting Stormtrooper vibes," Todd whispered, followed by a shush from Nelly. "I'm going to look," Mark whispered, and he glanced over the tree for a second. "He's gone, but there are so many cameras." I sighed, today sucked. "Distraction?" I nodded, and we all stared at Dvalin with the football. "What are you waiting for, shoot!" Nelly slapped Mark in his face. "Stop yelling." Dvalin did as he was told, and we heard a loud bang. The apparently poorly trained guards ran to the crater that was left by the shot, and we ran to the concrete door.
The building looked abandoned from the outside, but the inside was almost futuristic. It reminded me of a space shuttle, with all the metals and technology that I didn't quite understand. The walls were covered with transparent piping, filled with radiant liquids. "There are so many cameras" I mumbled, "they totally know we're here." We heard footsteps echoing from the hall on our right, and Mark took a peak. "What the..." I tilted my head. "What is it?" I then heard a familiar laugh. "Hello, earthlings." I almost choked when I saw Jordan in his Alius suit. There was a crazy, purple glow in his normally dark eyes. "I'm Janus."
