It was the last day on Cloister and I couldn't be happier. Kevin and I danced with pure joy while being judged by Nelly and Todd, the others were packing. 'Come on, it isn't that bad here,' Sylvia sighed. I shook my head, this place was nothing for me. She dragged me upstairs. 'Now pack your things.'
'Well someone is having a good time.' Jordan raised an eyebrow. 'What, can't I just be happy to leave this dull place?' He smiled. 'Yeah, that Buddha statue is terrifying, not gonna lie,' he replied. It became silent and as usual, I made up an amazing plan. 'I had a thought,' I started. 'Oh no.' My eyes became big. 'I swear it's a good one!' He sighed. 'What is your plan?' A smirk appeared on my face. 'Buddha will be growing a mustache.'
'Why did I agree to do this again?' Two minutes later I was sitting on Janus his neck to reach the statue, but we kept staggering. 'Stand still,' I said after he walked forward. 'easier said than done.' A mustache was almost finished when the team walked in. 'We have a pro-' Jordan looked up and we started to swing. 'Get. Off. Me,' he grunted. 'I'd love to but-' We fell. 'Great, now my butt hurts.' It was truly painful. 'Oh shut up, I think I broke my my neck.' When I turned to the team I caught them all sweatdropping. 'What on earth is going on?' Sylvia grumbled. 'What have you done?' Celia shouted, 'THAT THING IS EIGHTHUNDRED YEARS OLD!' Janus and I made eyecontact for a second before we stood up and ran for our lifes.
'Jordan stop!' I was panting like an idiot, I was absolutely exhausted. He on the other hand seemed to have no trouble with the sprint. 'Tired already?' I gave him a glare, wasn't it obvious? I observed the area and realized we were far away, only the top of the highest building was showed. 'Oh no, we still have to go all the way back,' I groanted. 'Oh no, that's a disaster.' I raised my brow. 'Someone's getting an attitude,' I mumbled. 'And that after you let me fall on my ass.' We looked eachother in the eye before bursting out into laughter. 'How about you?' Janus tried to pout but failed. 'My neck is dead.' I smiled. 'thought so.' I pointed at the school. 'Shall we?'
'I have a question,' Jordan mumbled. I tilted my head. 'Just ask.' He took a deep breath. 'Well when I was ehm, let's just call it panicking, you said you knew exactly how I felt, and the team understood what was happening. Do you mind telling me how?' I stared ahead of me, I was expecting this for a while now. 'ten months ago I started to receive letters, messages. It were innocent things in the beginning, like 'That test didn't go well, did it?', but soon it got creepier. In the evening I went to the toilet once, and when I returned there was a note that said I look cute in my pyjamas. and that went on for one hudred and sixty-seven notes, each one worse. Long story short, I was being stalked.' It became silent for a while. 'Did they find him,' he asked, 'The man behind this?' I shook my head. 'No, the team and I are working with detective Smith, but we're on a dead end.'
'Oh.' I heard my stomach rumbling. 'I really want to go back, I swear to God, if I'm not getting food soon I'll just eat you,' I mumbled, and Jordan chuckled. I thought saw someone and turned around to see a glimpse of red hair. The person didn't see us and I was about to tell Jordan when he pushed me behind the walls of a shop. 'What the fu-' he held his finger against my lip while he scanned paranoid the area. What a confidence. Not that I minded, it felt nice. His grip around my wrist loosened and he seemed to be rather... Embarrassed. 'I am so sorry,' he whispered with guilty eyes. 'That guy you saw, there is a big chance that he's from Alius.' Oh. I looked at the boy next to me to see his pupils getting bigger. No, not this time, I had to stop him in time. 'Hey Jordan, look at me.' He didn't, he just stared numb at his hands. 'Can you please look at me?' he turned his gaze to me. Carefully I placed my hand on his shoulder. 'It is going to be just fine, I promise.' The boy began to breath faster. 'N-no it's not. You don't know what they're like, you don't know,' he murmured. I pulled him against me and he squeaked. I let my fingers ran through the green locks and soon his body relaxed. I tried to ignore the red color on Jordan his face and the tingling feeling I had. You couldn't blame me, this little alien was cute.
'This is the first time you know.' I looked him in the eyes. 'That it could be stopped.' I felt my face light up and grinned. 'I am honored to be the cause of that,' I said and stood up. Looks like he's gone, shall we?'
Xavier saw the Raimon girl walking back with his best friend, in Jordan's eyes probably ex-friend. It had been a long time he had smiled like that, the redhead thought, and it was relieving for him. He failed his friend, and was somwhat happy to see he got new ones. The only thing that bothered him, was the fact his new friends were human. The team was a respectable group, all best friends. And he feared that if Jordan became friends with them, he would have no change at all.
