Finally there's something happening, though I have the feeling that this chapter is a bit rushed. But at least there's something interesting in it, so enjoy xD
Also for the people that don't work with centimeters and meters:
162.6 cm is around 5'3 feet

the bear-boy named Shawn was an incredible player, that's for sure. His defense technique, just wow. And he was fast, even better than Nathan! And of course, his shot. Incredibly powerful. Though there was something that bothered me. His eyes and personality. Once his eyes turned orange, his hair went up and he got way more aggressive. It always happened when he became a forward player, and I believed that Schiller noticed it as well.
After watching the boys practice for half an hour I got bored and cold. And there are only two ways to get warm. Going inside, but that was dull, or playing sports, so I decided to go running. I never really worked out except getting balls when they were kicked out of the field, but running was something I really enjoyed. I left the school area and followed a path. Just when I was about to go back, I saw a black ball. It belonged to them. I walked towards it, and like always I was way too curious to not touch it. Mark said it was heavy last time, but I never had the chance to hold it myself. I placed my hands on the sides and tried to lift the alien ball. I used all my power but the ball didn't move an inch.
'I believe that's mine.' I froze, not again. 'So, Rhona,' Janus spat, 'What were you trying to do?' I turned around, trying to think of an excuse. Why did I struggle to lie? That was usually so simple to me.
'Ehm... Well, I wanted to ehm.' Janus sighed. 'You're a nosy one, aren't you?' My mind went blank, and I started to talk nonsense to the green-haired alien. 'What? I just wanted to, ehmm, practice, Yes, yes that's it!' I responded with a high-pitched voice, immediately realizing it was the most terrible lie possible. He walked to the ball and sat down on his knees next to me. 'Humans seem to have trouble with these things,' he mumbled, and he picked up the ball with one hand.
'Wow.' It just escaped my mouth. He chuckled. 'Before you practice with it, you have to move it first.' I wrapped my hands around it, and really tried to pull it out of his grip, but I just couldn't lift it up. 'How can you even do that?' I questioned because to be honest, I was impressed. He shrugged. 'Because I'm better than humans in everything,' He said full of his terrifying confidence. Well, what was I supposed to do with that?
'Just because I can't pick up a ball doesn't mean that I'm less than you.' He smirked. 'I know everything about everyone, not only my physical abilities are better than yours, I know a lot more than the earth creatures. We've done so much research that there are no secrets to keep anymore.' I tilted my head. 'I will try to act like it's not creepy. What do you know about me?' Janus chuckled.
Well, your name is Rhona Ivette DiLauris, you're fifteen years old, an only child, you are a good runner, despite the fact that you don't go to any sports club. You love football, however, you don't play it a lot. It's a shame really. You are 162.6 centimeters, have a weird sense of humor, and you love nature. I could go on and on for hours, but I think I made my point.' I smiled. 'You were right, that is a lot of information.' Janus frowned. 'Why are you and your little friends in Hokkaido?' I thought about it for a while, what was I going to say? I couldn't tell him that we were training to play with his team and defeat it. 'We are looking for a new player that's supposed to be on Elphine,' I said, "we're missing a forward, and we need a training partner." I didn't even lie.
It became silent for a while. Then he looked at me and narrowed his eyes. 'I dare you to play a game with me.' The way he said it gave me goosebumps, and I got afraid again. 'Football.'
