Anyway I've resurrected
--------------------------------------
I frowned. 'Well, this sucks.' I observed my team. It was the first time that nobody really talked about winning or the importance of the game. They were either staring in the distance or stretching as if they were going to play against a toddler team. And there was, for the first time in months, no coach to motivate us. 'Okay, what's the formation?' asked Nathan. '4-3-3?' Mark suggested. But we don't have a third striker if Shawn plays in defence.' Jude had his mysterious thinking look on his face. 'But we can't do 4-4-2, we need a more offensive strategy!' Mark yelled. It became silent for a minute or so. 'We have Aphrodi.' Everybody looked at Jude as if he was God. 'Thank you! I've been waiting for weeks to hear that. I was too humble to suggest it,' Aphrodi said with a big grin. 'I do want to be the center forward though.'
It took us a while before we actually had a plan. Luckily we had our genius, Jude, as a coach, and me to disagree and argue with him.
'Alright humans, you've wasted enough time, let's begin!'
We were all a bit uncertain since we hadn't prepared anything new. Sue, Tori, and I had a little code for the shot but it was easy to crack. A hand up for a shot to the left, two fingers for a shot in the middle, and one finger for the right. I wondered if Aprodi could still do God knows and Heaven's time. 'Sooo, do you have any good shots?' Todd asked him. 'Just wait and see.' Dvalin smiled. 'You brought in a new player? Nice try, but that's not going to stop us.' Aphro completely ignored him and started to braid his hair with a distant expression*. I followed his gaze to Shawn, who sat with a depressed look in the grass. 'Hmmm okay,' he answered.
We had Sylvia as a referee today, it was our only option. When we walked on the "Field", Zel decided to talk to me. 'Where's your boyfriend?' he taunted. 'You tell me, where exactly is he?' he shrugged. 'Let's make a deal!' I shouted to Dvalin, 'If we win, you'll bring Jordan to us!' Celia pulled me away. 'What are you thinking? We know where he is!' I shook my head. 'They found us on a train to Mount Fuji, I don't think they'll keep him there any longer,' I explained. She just sighed. 'Why would we know where he is?' asked Dvalin with a grin. I clenched my teeth. 'Okay, I am THIS close to-'
'Stop talking Rhona, it's not going to help,' Mark said. 'Alright alright, let's begin.'
I was a midfielder today, together with Eric and Jude. I felt sick, what if we didn't win? Would we never see Jordan again? 'Oh my god,' shouted Kevin from the other half of the field. 'Why are you standing still, the game has started!' I looked around the field and saw Epsilon storming toward our half. 'Oh.' I jogged to Zel with the intention of getting the ball. 'What are you doing? I thought that we had decided that Eric would take care of him?' Jude screamed. I stopped running and stared at him. 'Then what am I supposed to do?' And this is how it went in the first half. Epsilon played better than ever before, and we were at our worst. I sighed. This was maybe our most important game ever, but I just couldn't focus.
'That's it! You're out!' I stared at Mark in disbelief. 'Really? I mess up the first twenty minutes, and now it's over?' He shook his head. 'No, you're way too close to this! You-' I interrupted him. 'And that is exactly why I need to play the game, I'm stressed, but there is nothing I want more than to win this game.'
