Lmao, I was on the plane working on this chapter, and it didn't save bc my phone was in airplane mode so I had to rewrite it aaaaall.

'Well, this sucks.' I sat down angrily on the bench. 'Oh come on, you're sixteen. Can't you act like an adult for once?' Nelly asked annoyed. 'No, I have only two years of childhood left and I want to get the best out of it.' Celia and Sylvia sweatdropped.
'Aaand the aliens scored!' I looked at the field. Chester was right. 'But we're playing for like twenty-'
'nineteen comma eighty-eight seconds,' Willy said. I sighed. ' What? I'm very precise, you know that!' But what happened? I observed the setup of Epsilon. Whenever one of our players had the ball, there were two aliens to stop him or her.
'That's it!' I screamed. ' Coach I figured it out!' She gestured for me to come. 'What is it? And can you not yell, everyone heard you,' she preached. I nodded. 'They can't do it alone,' I whispered, 'Their whole tactic is built on a duo, we just have to get them apart!'
'You yelled,' the coach responded. 'I whispered-yelled.' She stared at the field. 'But you might be right Rhona.' I looked hopefully in her cold eyes. 'Does that mean that I get to play?' I asked excitedly. 'Absolutely not.' I bit my lip to stop myself from screaming. 'Epsilon scores again!'
'I don't get it. I know what's going on, why am I not allowed to play?' I asked Celia furiously. 'Whoah, don't be mad at me!' Nelly raised her eyebrows. 'Don't you get it? You may know the problem, but as long as you can't solve it, you are as useless as Willy on the field.' Ouch.
Trying to break Epsilon's tactics and little tricks, it was like solving a thousand pieces puzzle. Or trying to play an impossible piano song from Youtube. Whenever you think you've figured it out, you bump into another problem. For example, whenever Zel is covering Jude together with the blue-haired girl, She has her right foot pointed to the outside and her legs are very close to each other. That would mean that her balance isn't very good. So if I was right, he should be possible to pass the ball to the right, probably to Shawn. But that doesn't work. And that's because of Zel, who has a way more stable position than the girl and can close the gap. there were around seventy centimeters between his feet. So if you'd be fast you could play the ball between his legs. But the girl is more flexible and can move quickly to stop the shot and take the ball.
After the fourth goal, I stopped thinking. 'It's impossible Syl, totally impossible.' I heard a sound coming from my phone. You're giving up fast, how unusual. -T. 'Are you for real, I mumbled to my phone. Sylvia tilted her head. 'It's him again.' I made a screenshot and sent it to the group chat. Or as Mark titled it, Teamworkteam ⚽️💙. Because a red heart wasn't cool enough, according to him.
'BABE ARE YOU ALRIGHT?' Suddenly Jordan stood next to me. 'I thought you were upstairs?' He smiled for a second. 'I was. Did he hurt you?' he started to inspect my face as if I was attacked by a criminal. 'Sweetie I'm fine.' Nevertheless, he continued with examining me. 'Jordan I'm trying to think,' I muttered when he held my face. 'Just a sec.' I pushed his hands away. 'For god's sake, I am trying to solve something!' He pouted. I sighed. 'Sorry, but I really want to play.' Then his expression changed, he smiled again. 'Let me help you.'
After I explained my duo theory, Jordan just frowned. 'Well?' He took my notes, read them again and started to pace in circles. 'You're gonna get dizzy.' Without looking at me he sat down, sighed, stared at the field and stood up again. 'What are you doing?' I asked. 'Well, the obvious answer is to separate the two players. I've tried to sort them into two categories, Steady and Flexible. We just have to make sure that one part of the group is covered.' I jumped up and hugged him excitedly. 'Thanks honey!' I yelled. He scratched his head. I realized that something was wrong. 'What?' Jordan sighed. 'Well, honey isn't a very badass nickname.' I face-palmed. 'Really? That's the problem?'
'... And that's why I should play immediately.' When I told my, well mostly Jordan's plan, the coach seemed to be impressed. 'Fine, you can play in the second half of the game.' She stared at Nathan, who could barely run. 'Swift is injured anyway.'
The referee whistled, and the game stopped. Everyone was exhausted, and Sue was upset that they couldn't do the butterfly. 'Coach, you ruined it! We had a plan and you totally ignored it!' Schiller only sighed. Well, we have to make sure that these people are covered all the time, do not let them take the ball.' The coach continued to explain the tactics, while I noticed the gloomy expression on Jordan's face. 'What's wrong,' I whispered. He shrugged as if he didn't care, but we both knew that wasn't true. 'Nothing much. It's just that they haven't really paid attention to me,' he said while looking at the Epsilon team. 'That doesn't matter, I can give you attention!' He smiled and kissed me on my forehead. 'Oh yeah, those butterflies will be there,' Sue smirked.
'The setup of Raimon has been changed! Nathan Swift sits now on the sideline, and Rhona Dilauris has entered! But why is she playing as a midfielder? Why would the Raimon stop with focusing on defense against the way stronger Epsilon? I stretched while listening to Chester's comment. He had a point, it was risky. 'Well well well, the famous human girl is finally here, the 'savior' against Gemini Storm.' Dvalin looked at me, and it gave me a bad feeling. He was so confident, it was terrifying. And because my brains were frozen I just smiled. 'Oh, you don't have to be so happy. You may have scored against Gemini, but we are light years stronger than them.' I decided not to correct his sentence and focused on the Epsilon setup instead. They still had the same tactic.
Epsilon started the second half of the game and rushed forward immediately. Sue, Tori and I were not covering a player, just like we planned. 'Epsilon's Zel is rushing over the field! But what's going on? He is being enclosed by Jude and Scotty! Mercury is covered by Jack, and she cannot escape.' Zel tried to pass the ball to Kenville, but Tori intercepted it. 'Finally, Raimon can attack!' I rushed forward to the right side of the field, while Tori and Sue made sure to not lose the ball. It looked like I was doing nothing, so no one tried to cover me.
Finally we were able to use our hissatsu, and it went perfectly. Dvalin was already pointing his Wormhole to the middle of the goal when the ball turned to me. He was too late to react, and I shot the ball easily in the net. 'Aaaaand, they did it! 1-4! Raimon has scored with a new technique! The butterfly from the girls has left Epsilon in surprise!' I smiled. 'Well done! Mark shouted, 'You guys are amazing!' I jogged to Sue and Tori. 'We have a problem now. Dvalin knows that we'll shoot the ball from the right, so I think we have to try it in the middle. He won't expect that.' They nodded. But after we scored, the aliens became better. It was difficult to keep them covered, and we were forced to play in defense. It was at the last minute that we managed to score again.
'We scored against Epsilon, wow!' Though we didn't win, everyone was still excited. It really felt like a victory. Then I got hugged from behind. 'Baby you were amazing,' Jordan mumbled in my ear. I chuckled. 'And I think that Da- I mean Dvalin has noticed my necklace, he keeps staring at me with a little smile. To be honest, it looks scary.' I nodded. 'He's always scary.'
