I had to split the chapter, so the end is not really an end if you get what I mean.

-------------------------------------------

The following days I continued to investigate. Xavier went to Italy to play soccer, and that's where the accident happened. The Japanese police took the case and stated that the crash was an accident. The breaks were old and didn't work anymore, the report said. But the weird thing was, that I couldn't find information about a soccer training or camp.

The Xavier Schriller case wasn't the only thing that kept me busy, I was worried about the coach. We were having a break when I asked the group about it. 'Don't you guys think that coach Schriller looks a little joyless?' Nathan chuckled. 'Isn't she always?' I shook my head. 'No, I'm talking about sadness, depression even. Normally she looks like she doesn't have any emotions, besides a little smile sometimes. But now she frowns all the time, or she looks sad.' I thought about her little brother and realized that is had to do something about him. 'Hmm, maybe you're right,' Mark said, 'but right now we have to focus on playing soccer!'

I was practicing my shots when someone hugged me from behind. 'Hi babe,' a soft voice whispered in my ear. 'Jordan, I'm practicing,' I laughed. I turned around and saw that he pouted. 'But I barely saw you this week, you're always locking yourself up in the woman's bathroom.' I felt a little guilty, he was right. 'How can I make it up to you?' His face came closer until his little nose touched mine, and I could feel his breath. 'Kiss me,' he whispered. The way he said it made me shiver. I closed the little gap between our lips and gave him a soft kiss. But when I let go, he pulled me back by my collar and started to kiss me again, but not like the first time. It was way more passionate.

'Ahum.' We both looked at Mark, who was standing in front of the goal with red cheeks. 'Are you going to shoot or what?' Then, when I turned around, I looked right into Sue's way too happy face. She pressed her phone under our noses and showed us the pictures she had made. 'Aw, we're so cute,' Jordan said happily. I smiled. 'And now delete.' Sue ran away, but Jordan passed her within a second. I couldn't hear what they were saying, but he had a cold look on his face while talking. Sue swallowed and gave her phone to him. Then they walked back to us, Jordan with a big grin. 'Problem solved!' I looked him right into his eyes. 'What did you tell her?' I asked. He scratched the back of his head. 'Well... I only said that if she wouldn't delete those pictures, I'd make me very sad.' I frowned. 'Is that all? Because that doesn't sound terrifying at all,' I mumbled. 'Well, I said it like this.' He gave me a cold alien glare 'Well... I only said that if she wouldn't delete those pictures, I'd make me very sad,' he said with a cool, yet threatening tone in his voice. It made me shiver. 'I see, but maybe that was too much hun.' He had an upset glance in his eyes. 'Oh, sorry,' he mumbled with his head hanging down. 'No, don't say sorry, it's alright!' I yelled hastily, and I pulled him into a hug. 'Sorry.' I sighed. 'I mean, okay,' he muttered. 'Still waiting.' 'Shut up Mike, we're having a moment,' Jordan said annoyed.

When I went to the bathroom, I overheard a conversation between three people. 'All I'm saying is that she shouldn't have those documents,' a male voice said. 'Don't worry about it Torch, it'll be fine.' Then I realized who the second guy was, alien Xavier! 'Xene please, don't act all calm and peaceful. It's a problem and you know it.' The boys stood behind a pillar, so I just passed them and pretended I didn't see them. 'Speaking of the devil,' one of the guys whispered. I sighed. 'I'm not deaf,' I said annoyed and gave him a cold glare. It didn't impress him, his cold blue eyes looked back at me with an emotionless expression. I looked at the familiar, irritating face. 'Xene? Really? Couldn't you come up with something more creative?' The other boys smirked. 'You too Torch!' As soon as I spoke his name out loud, I froze. I had a déjà vu.

Torch starts with a T, and means a piece of wood on fire, or setting something on fire. T draws little flames, Torch is T. But... Wasn't that too easy? Without saying anything I walked away. 'Human? Human where are you going?'

I walked to the side bench where the other players were. 'I think we have him,' I said quietly. It became silent. 'T?' Byron eventually asked. 'Yep.' A second later, everyone was cheering. Everyone except me. 'What's wrong?' I shrugged. 'It just doesn't make sense, does it?' Nathan sighed. 'He never made sense,' he answered. 'Who was it?' I looked at everyone. 'It was a guy named Torch.' Jordan laughed. 'What?' He shook his head. 'No, it can't be him. Red hair yellow eyes?' I tilted nodded. 'You know that guy?' He chuckled. 'From Alius and the orphanage. He's way too hot-headed, if, and I say if, someone from the foster home is T, then it'd probably be Isabelle or Bryce. Maybe Xavier.' I gritted my teeth. 'Who the fuck is Isabelle?' Jordan stared at me in surprise. 'Just someone from the foster home, why?' I raised my brows. 'And you knew that she's an alien?' He sighed. 'I told you before, father adopted everyone, so yes.' I sat down. 'Why can't you just say everything at once?' He tilted his head. 'Every time you give us a little piece of information, you never exactly tell us what you know, why is that?'
