'You are lucky, we all waited for you to have dinner!' I mentally cried but smiled. 'Hurray.' I didn't feel hungry at all and poked with my fork into my food. Why did Janus do that? Of course, he's trying to manipulate the team through me. It was terrible, that guy was pure evil. But he did help me with my injury, and became shy when I admitted he was right, and of course the fun fair situation, him being nice and me liking it. I hated it, I hated it to not know the answer. 'Hey, are you alright?' Mark asked. I nodded. 'Of course I am, I'm just a little tired, that's all.' He showed me one of his cheerful laughs. 'Yes, you were gone for a long time!' I sighed relieved. Then I noticed that someone was observing me, Jude. And I could directly see that he didn't believe a word of it.
I went to the girls room, and studied the ceilings. Silly girl, can't you see that the truth is right in front of you? What did he mean with that? I rolled around on my bed, thinking of what it could be when Tori walked in. 'Hey, why aren't you coming downstairs, we are going to watch a movie.' I nodded. 'Alright then.' When I walked in I saw the team teasing, chatting and playing games with each other. Can't you see that the truth is right in front of you? I gasped, it was the team! I watched them play for one and a half year now, and their passion somehow got to me. It made me wanna play when I had the chance, witch in this case was Janus, and I took it. He meant it literally, the boys have always been in front of me!
'Rhonaaaaa, help!' Kevin was trying to hit Todd and Jack with a pillow, while they were running away. 'NO ONE STEALS MY CHOCOLATE!' Kevin shouted, and hit Todd with a pillow. 'Oh no, get up Todd! We need you in this battle!' Jack screamed. 'Go Kevin go,' Mark screamed. 'Show everyone your talents! Let them see what happens when you steal chocolate from Dragonfly!' Sylvia facepalmed. 'They are taking it very seriously.' I observed the fight, and suddenly a great idea popped into my mind. It was throwing a pillow in Mark his face. 'NOW IT'S WAR!' It was me, Jack and Todd against Kevin, Mark and Celia. Jack was in the front, defending us, while we tried to attack as many times we could. 'Fireball Knuckle!' Mark screamed, and hit the pillow with his hissatsu. 'The wall!' Fortunately he stopped it. 'Well done Jackie!' We never watched the movie.
It was half past ten when everyone went to sleep. The moment I laid down on the mattress, I thought about what happened. I closed my eyes and tried to recall the moment. His hand on my face, it was so quick. All I remembered was that it was soft. I sighed, it was all just a game. But I just couldn't figure out the purpose. And then there were the mixed feelings. What the hell was going on? I was wide awake now, and realized that I would never fall asleep with these unanswered questions. I hated it. I stared out of the window and saw the soccer field. Why not, I thought by myself, there was no one anyway. I put on my sport clothes and walked outside.
Frustrated I kicked the ball into the net. Why did he do it? The worst part was the feeling I had. I enjoyed it. It was wrong. The ball rolled back, and I shot it again. I wasn't really supposed to play soccer, he didn't allow me to. But he was gone, I convinced myself, I was free. I continued with kicking the ball, I had to take my anger out with something. I was doing this for fifteen minutes when I heard something whizzing. In a reflex I turned around, saw a ball coming my way with some purple light around it and kicked it back. I recognised the shadow that belonged to Jude. 'What the hell was that?' I screamed, and gritted my teeth. 'Mark might believe you, but I know you're hiding something.' I was shocked. 'Oh shut up, you're always being too suspicious.' He stared at the ball under my foot. 'I had no idea that you could play soccer on this level. Interesting.' I frowned. 'Let's practice together.' I shook my head. 'No thanks, I don't feel like hanging around with you,' I answered. He walked towards me and took the ball. 'Oh, you're going to regret this!'
I ran after him and with a fake movement I distracted him and got it back. I sprinted towards the goal, and forced Jude to go into defence. When he came closer I shot it over him, kicked the ball with all my power and scored. I observed my shot. It looked like there were some horns on it, weird. 'What was that?' I shrugged. 'No idea, did it look good?' Jude tossed the ball to me. 'Try it again,' he commanded. I sighed and was about to say something about his attitude, but realized he was right. Just like the other one, I shot it a few centimeters up, and kicked the ball in the middle of the goal. the energy that I felt made two curves, on each side one, and two black horns again. Then a blurry face appeared, and it laughed evil. 'You're almost there,' Jude shouted. I nodded, and tried it over and over. It didn't make any progress. I pictured the shot in my head, I had seen the face before. Two black horns and a scary face. 'Malificent!' He tilted his head. 'I see, but to create the fa-'
'I have to shoot the ball higher so the horns will be attached to the sides of her head!' Jude smirked, and passed the ball to me. I shot it three meters in the air, created the curves and kicked it. I heard someone chuckling evilly, and a voice singing in the background. 'Once upon a dream,' a low voice sang. I blinked, had I heard and seen that right? 'JUUUUUUUDE! DID YOU SEE THAT?' I heard the door open, and the whole team came to us. 'Why were you shouting like that,' Jack asked and he rubbed his eyes. 'Rhona created a su-' Jude started. 'An argument. Jude told me that it was too late to go outside and we had an argument.' Nathan frowned. 'He is right you know, it's half past eleven.' I pouted. 'Alright then.' Jude glared at me, and I shook my head. This had to stay a secret, I didn't want to play anymore. The coach would get some stupid ideas in her head.
'What are doing outside?' A cold woman's voice said. O shit. 'We ehm, went for a walk!' Nathan said with his hands waving in the air. I sighed, this situation was identical to the one when we sneaked into the school office to find David Evans' notebook. 'Yes,' Mark said with a red head, 'We were just talking about the ehm... pine trees!' The coach gave him a cold glare. 'It's late, get inside.'
