⚠ panic attack, violence
"Guys! Somebody's here." Kie says, gaining all the boys attention.
Louis squinted and let out a long exhale when he saw the black truck pull up to the Château. Of course, Louis thought. Only him and his friends are lucky enough to be in danger over a compass, Louis thought with a sarcasm.
"Guys, guys, is that them?" Kie asks.
"No." Leo said, trying to calm the girk down, even if he was internally scared as well.
"Is that them?"
"This is suboptimal." Pope anwsers, to which Louis rolls his eyes at. Not the time.
"John B, I told you. Why does it always..." JJ starts but is interrupted when John B pushes him against a wall.
Louis gives John a glare and walks over to help but JJ silently stops him by raising his hand. Louis looks at the raised hand to the hands of John B on his boy and gives John B another nasty glare.
" JJ! Hey, look at me. Where's the gun?" John B asks, ignoring the angered eyes directed towards him.
"Gun? I, uh, I can't..." JJ says.
"Now you don't have the gun, the one time we need the gun?" Kie says, panic in her voice. Pope looks at Kie and tries to put a supportive hand on her but she moves before he can do so.
"It was in my backpack, and then I..."
"Backpack... On the porch. It's on the porch. John B tells JJ.
Louis looks at Leo quickly, and pulls him into a quick hug before leaving the office to find the gun.
"Louis! No!" JJ says, shoving John B off. He goes to follow but before he can he is being pushed back in by Louis, who has a backpack in hand.
"Did you get the gun?" John B asks.
"Uh... No. They are on thr porch. This is my backpack I left the first night I stayed here..."
"John Routledge! Come on out now!" Then intruder yells.
"Fuck... Louis what is that going to do! We needed the gun!" Pope yells at Louis, causing him to flinch.
"Where's the compass?!" The intruder yells again, this time his voice being heard louder.
"Routledge! Where you at, boy?" Another voice yells, indicating that there were two intruders not just one.
"We gotta leave!" Kie yells, gaining the attention of Pope and John B who were arguing with Louis.
Louis lets out a breath of relief and JJ quickly pulls him into a hug before letting him go and walking towards the window.
"Guys, window. Window." Leo says, stumbling over his words.
Glass shattered from across the Château and Louis flinched which caused JJ to worry. He didn't like seeing his boy so scared, especially when there was nothing he could do to help.
