Louis was definitely confused when JJ randomly left the room to work on the 'g-game'.

He knew JJ was somewhat insane but to see JJ so suddenly leave after they just made out was somewhat upsetting but also exciting for Louis. He liked JJ's wild side even if it drives him mad more times than not.

So as JJ was busy doing whatever plan was necessary for the gold, Louis was watching from the shadows in a means to keep him safe. Because let's be honest, although Louis loves JJ, he doesn't know how much trust he has for the boy to not get into trouble.

Louis however couldn't help the smile that spread on his face when he saw JJ dancing very awkwardly. That was his boy, whether they were official yet or not.

On the other side of the dance floor, the awkward dancing boy was oblivious to the not one but two boys looking at him.

"JJ?" Sarah Cameron asks, after JJ sneakily taps on her shoulder to get her attention as he dances.

"Yep." JJ says before putting a finger to his lips to keep quiet.

"What?"

"I got a, uh, note from Vlad."

"From..."

"Yeah."

"From Vlad?" Sarah asks again, a smile on her face with the thought of John B writing to her in their code names.

"Read the note." JJ says before sending a wink to her and moving away from the crowded area of the dance floor.

The blonde smiles when he moves and sees Louis waiting for him, the French boy sending a thumbs up and wink even if he had no idea what he was supporting.

As JJ made his way over to Louis he was stopped when a boy stepped infront of him, perfect suit and hair, no imperfection.

"I'm wonderin' if you could get me a mai tai, my friend." Rafe says, being the boy who stopped JJ in his tracks.

To make matters worse for JJ, Rafe had friends with him, one being Kelce and another to his surprise was Mattie.

His once dear friend Mattie was now standing beside Rafe and his Kook cult, anger, sadness, and most of all guilt swimming in his eyes.

"Matt?" JJ whispers quietly, deaf to anyone's ears.

It was then that JJ knew how much wrong he did, how wrong he has been doing.

He was friends with Mattie. Platonic soulmates one would even say, yet one night with too much to drink, and frightened of what society would think made him ruin that friendship.

"Pogue, how about you make that two?" Kelce asks, with a smirk on his face.

JJ looks at the Kooks before locking eyes with Mattie once more, this time giving a subtle nod of 'okay' to the boy.
