Jules Sinclair in every way possibly was a dare devil. She wouldn't back out, she thrived of the risks and dangers life could lead her.

Leo Caswell was in every way a rule follower. He would always back out, scared of the risks and dangers life could lead him.

Jules Sinclair and Leo Caswell were in many ways complete opposites. Yet as they say 'opposites attract' and this was no exception.

After the idea sparked that he indeed could having feelings for his quirky friend Pope, he left, grabbing his skateboard and closing the front door behind him. He needed to think.

His nose was still in pain, his head slightly hurt from the attack before, overall Leo wasn't looking good, and he felt it as fell.

He was skateboarding down a street when the interaction happened. He was busy looking at the sea and the waves pleading for a surf, only two seconds his eyes were off of what was infront of him. Two seconds and he accidently ran into someone, falling as his skateboard stopped, causing him to slam into the concrete.

He let out curses before quickly getting up from the ground when he saw the person he ran into was a girl.

"Désolé. Désolé. Désolé." Leo whispers, giving a hand for the girl to take, her slapping it away and standing up on her own.

("Sorry. Sorry. Sorry.")

"I would usually be mad at you but you did a sick trick a few seconds ago!" The girl excitingly says before wiping at her clothes and hissing at the small blood on her elbow.

"I'm so sorry for running into you... I just didn't see and-"

"Relax. It was both our faults. I was too busy trying a new trick, you weren't watching. We're both at fault... But I'm Jules." Jules says, extending her hand into a shake.

"Leo... Are you okay? I'm sorry...." Leo mumbles, looking at the small injuries she has now.

Jules nods, shaking his hand. She lets go and moves a hand to put some hair behind her ear, huffing slightly when it doesn't stay.

"I like the little accent you have by the way." Jules compliments, causing Leo to smile and shakes his head slightly in humor.

"French... My frére- brother... My brother and I moved here 2 months ago."

"Well then here's to a late welcome to the Outer Banks." Jules laughs before grabbing her skateboard as well as his.

There was a slight awkward silence between the two before Leo looked at her board and smiled slightly.

"I can show you a few tricks?" Leo asks, giving her a sheepish smile.

Jules nods before getting on her skateboard and handing Leo his. She began to skate away and Leo looked confused but followed.
