After Louis calmed down with the help of JJ, he left the Château, Leo followed close behind as they walked with a gloom look on his face.

Louis would apologize for his behavior later but for now he felt like his emotions were justifiable and his lash out earlier was for good reason. He just found out his mother's murderer was in outerbanks. The Caswell boys worst enemy a few yards from them at one point. So yeah, Louis had a reason to be pissed.

After making it back to the Brooks Leo immediately goes up to his room, slamming his door in the process. It wasn't that Leo was mad at Louis, more mad at the whole circumstance that has happened and the reality they were facing.

Mrs. Brooks heard the slammed door from the kitchen and walked in to see Louis with a present frown on his face as he looked up the stairs. She was quick to walk over to the boy and even put her hands on his shoulders yet got no reaction. As she calls out his name and shakes him slightly she gets no response. Just the boy staring at the same area with tears now forming in his eyes.

"Louis? Sweetie?" Anne asks again, shaking the boy slightly harsher to try and gain his attention.

That failed.

As Anne continues to call out to Louis, Louis has his own problems going on within his head.

Your fault. You let him get close to Leo. He killed mother, he will kill Leo next. Your fault. He was close. He could of seen Leo. Your fault. He knows you. Your fault. That murderer will come back. Your fault. You couldn't stand to see him back at home and now because of that he escaped. Your fault. He will kill Leo. Your fault. You are the reason mother went to the bank. Your fault. She is dead because of you.

Your fault.

Your fault....

"My fault." Louis whispers out, turning his head from the stairs to Anne, who now also had Henry at her side.

"What sweetie?" Anne asks, rubbing her hand comfortingly on his shoulder.

The voices slowly grew louder in his head as he stares at Anne but sees his mother.

Your fault.

Your fault.

All your fault.

"My fault." Louis whispers again, much quieter this time.

Anne and Henry give a glance to one another and Henry opens his mouth to say something but before he can Louis has grabbed his backpack from the front door and exited the house without a word.

As Louis pulls at his backpack straps on his shoulders he walks fast, face down with tears threatening to fall. He has a destination in mind. One he wished to not see for a while. As much as it pained him though to think of going there again, the pain in his heart and head overpowered that. So he walks, and walks, and walks. Until pavement is now grass then sand then grass again, and he reaches a trailer with trash littering the yard.
