Louis enjoyed many things in life

Louis enjoyed many things in life. He was considered an artist at his old school. He could sculpt, paint, sing, and play multiple instruments. He loved doing each one, but after the passing of his mother, he stopped doing hobbies such as those. It pained him, he couldn't bare doing something he enjoyed when all those things were taught to him from his mother.

Her death was still fresh. It still stung as if he was just told the news from a police man. It was only two months ago he was still with his mother, getting stories read to him after having a nightmare. It was only two months ago he was playing the piano with his mother there recording him. It was only two months ago he had a somewhat normal family, some simply daily routine and a smile that always reached his eyes. Two months, two months and the wounds in his heart were still not healing.

Louis looks at the guitar for what feels like the first time. He smooths his hand across its surface, memories coming back, music flooding his ears, himself being at peace. He decides after a long debate that one song won't hurt. Louis grabs the precious guitar and puts it in its case, before stealing his brothers skateboard.

As he is about to leave he heard a cough and clearing of the throat from behind him. He stops in his tracks and scolds himself for not being fast enough. He slowing turns around to see Henry in his police uniform, arms crossed.

"Just be back before dinner, okay?" Henry asks.

Louis nods and gives a quick hug to Mr. Brooks before exiting the house.

His journey is quick. He passes by The Wreck, a brown disgusting van sitting there. Louis scrunched his nose at the chipped paint but doesn't think much of it. He soon skates across the bridge, entering territory he isn't familiar with.  As he passes a house that is under renovation, he finds a park right next to it and decided to stop there. Pretty atmosphere, gorgeous view, all he hopes is the constructors won't be back while he is there so he can enjoy some quietness.

Louis soon finds a stone bench and sets his skateboard there, before opening his case and grabbing his guitar. He quickly takes his shirt off, the heat of the day becoming to much for him then grabs the guitar once again. The instrument almost feels foreign in his hands but pushes that thought aside. He begins to strum the strings, tuning the instrument when he hears chatter from above him. Great. The workers are back from their lunch break. He thought. Only when Louis looks over towards the house, still strumming the guitar they aren't workers but the teens from before, the ones he met briefly at The Wreck.

John B is the first to see Louis, probably because of him standing on the roof. He waves, causing Pope and JJ to look in his direction. Louis waves slightly and can feel a blush spreading across his cheeks from the acknowledgement and attention given to him.

"Hey! Louis! You should come join us!" Pope yells.

JJ soon turns to Pope and Louis can see an argument going on. John B shakes his head at the two, annoyed at his friends for again arguing, before waving Louis to head this way.
