The boys returned home that night with smiles on their faces. Not only did they now have a drone to search for the Merchant but also experienced a night where there was no grief on the boys shoulders. However that moment quickly vanished when the boys entered the Brooks home and saw a angry looking Henry in the living room with his arms crossed. Louis looks at Leo and can see the worried look, which results in Louis telling his brother to head to bed and not listen. Leo does as he is told and leaves, heading up the stairs after mumbling a good night to Henry.

"Everything okay Pa- Mr. Brooks?"

Henry looks at Louis and urges him to sit down. Louis does so after grabbing a long sleeve from his backpack, disliking the cold. He sits down across from Henry and messes with his ring and scabbed knuckles, not looking at Henry.

"Louis?"

"Hm?"

"You have... look, We all make mistakes. That's what makes us human. We have flaws and weaknesses. I apologize that my weakness of not being supportive upset you."

"You don't have to say this Mr. Brooks. You have the right to feel what you want... Don't apologize if you don't mean it." Louis mumbles out, scratching at his hands slightly from nerves.

"You know I don't hate you, right?"

"You seemed to hate me this morning... You can't change your views within hours Mr. Brooks. If you don't like me for... Well me being me then I think it's best I leave. I seem to only be more harm than good and I rather you be happy than suffer with this lame excuse of a son." Louis says, talking about himself and how Henry views him.

"Louis...."

"It's okay Mr. Brooks... It's nothing new I haven't experienced.... I do apologize for being this way." Louis sighs out, sending Henry a apologetic glance before standing up and leaving the living room grabbing head backpack and heading to his bedroom.

Louis was sorry for who he was. Not because he loved men, but because of the depressive addict he has become. He was correct however, this wasn't new, be experienced homophobics many times before, but Henry being one hurt a little more than the rest.
