Louis and JJ made it to the Wreck, Louis in hopes of getting some coffee and JJ wanting some possibly free breakfast if Kie was working today.
As JJ parks the bike he turns around and helps take the helmet off of Louis. Louis had a pout on his face the whole ride from his home to The Wreck as the helmet messed up his hair and he had a deep concern as JJ didn't wear one. However the smile returned when JJ gave Louis a hand off of the bike and had their pinkies interlocked when they entered.
The Wreck wasn't busy, mostly of older couples having a meal. Louis smiles at the thought of growing old with a lover and brought JJ's hand to his mouth, giving it a slight kiss.
JJ smiled and pulled Louis towards a booth, not recognizing the familiar brown hair that was the booth next to theirs. When Louis and JJ sat down, Louis held JJ's hand under the table, using the other to look at the menu and give a curious look at some of the items he didn't recognize.
He let go of JJ's hand and stood up, excusing himself to the restroom as he didn't wash his hands. JJ nodded and gave Louis a small smile before looking back at the menu.
"Well if it isn't JJ Maybank." A voice booms, one JJ recognized so clearly.
JJ let our a groan and rolled his eyes before making eye contact with the figure standing before him.
Mattie Sinclair: Royalty on and off school grounds, class A-douchebag, captain of the basekeball team, playboy, and enemy to JJ Maybank.
"Mind if I take this spot? No? Okay thanks." Mattie says pointing to the spot Louis was just sitting in before sitting down.
"What do you want Matt?"
"Oooh... Been a while since we had a first name basis." Sinclair points out.
"Yeah well I'm being generous today." JJ jokes, now annoyed his own good morning had to be ruined.
"Mmhmm you were always generous -"
"What do you want?" JJ asks, cutting Mattie off before he can speak.
"Sassy and Busy are we?"
"Yeah well I am busy. So leave dickhead." JJ mumbles out, looking to the bathroom every so often. Mattie laughs and rolls his eyes in mock hurt at that.
Mattie sees that he is getting under JJ's skin and smirks slightly, liking the effect he has on him.
Louis was oblivious to the anger both boys held when he walked out of the bathroom, smiling slightly when he saw JJ still waiting for him. However he slowly starts to grow confused when he sees the new figure, a face he didn't recognize sitting in what was his spot.
He slows to a stop infront of the two and tries to give a smile, not wanting to be impolite just because he was jealous.
Mattie looks up at the boy that approached him and gives him a smile before extending his hand out in a shake.
"You must be the new pogue the kooks keep talking about. I'm Mattie Sinclair." His smirk never slipping his lips as he speaks.
"Bonjour. Louis Caswell. Plaisir de vous rencontrer." Louis says, smiling at the boy before shaking his hand in return.
("Pleasure to meet you.")
JJ was very annoyed with this encounter. Not only was Louis talking to someone he couldn't stand. Mattie was acting as if JJ and him were actually friends or something. Like not moments ago he was getting at his skin.
"Oh. I'm sorry. Am I in your seat?" Mattie asks, standing up before Louis can anwser.
Louis gives him a small smile of thanks before sitting back down and grabbing his menu again.
"Well it was good to see you again JJ. Louis, pleasure to meet you. I must get going through, my sister is probably waiting."
Louis nods and sends a small wave to Mattie, who then waves as well before exiting the restaurant. Louis turns his gaze back to JJ to see JJ glaring at the spot Mattie once stood.
"JJ? You okay?" Louis asks, getting JJ's attention.
JJ nods and is greatful for the waiter who interrupts the conversation, taking their orders. When she leaves Louis looks back at JJ to see JJ's mind elsewhere. Louis frowns slightly and reaches under the table to grab one of JJ's hands, interlocking their fingers and staring intently at the boy.
"Sorry Mikey... Just haven't seen Matt in a while. Stay away from him, will you?"
Louis becomes confused at that. Matt was acting nice towards him, why should he have to stay away. Especially after just meeting him.
"What why?"
"Just- just trust me on this. Mattie is bad news." JJ says, thanking the waiter when she returns with their food and drinks.
Louis nods and gives a shrug to the shoulder to JJ before he digs into his food, thankful for the sweet substance. He has been eating much less the last few days so it was nice to finally be eating without feeling guilt for doing so.
"Slow down Mikey... Fucking pig." JJ jokes, causing Louis to glare before slowing down on his eating, realizing he wasn't using his manors.
This to Louis seemed like a first date, and he realized how disgusting he was being. Not only did he bring up something JJ didn't want to talk about, he also was showing no manors what's so ever.
"Sorry." Louis whispers.
JJ laughs before digging into his own food, sending a wink to Louis when Louis takes a sip of his coffee and his eyes light up.
Louis smiles before putting the mug down and grabbing one of JJ's hands, running circles on it.
"Merci... I needed this." Louis whispers out.
("Thank you.")
JJ nods and continues to eat. Both boys share laughs and converse the entire time, not an awkward moment once between them.
Not know to either of them though, Mattie was leaning against his car staring at the two boys in the window, watching as they laughed every few seconds and would secretly hold hands every now and then.
Louis was feeling the happiest he had in awhile. JJ was feeling emotions he hasn't felt before. Mattie was feeling deeply hurt with an anger building inside.
All three boys were feeling something, just unknown to them all, those emotions would soon lead to actions they wish they could take back.
