~FLASHBACK~
Pt.2

We all finish eating and I am now happy I pushed through the pain and came here, because I feel much better with food in my system. It's like my body is healing way faster with the soup and tea.

"Sophie," the instructor walks up to our table. "The soaking barrel is ready outside for you."

"I think I'm okay now, actually."

"Are you sure? You looked pretty bad," she touches my forehead to check my temperature.

"Geez, thanks," I laugh. "I'm really okay! I swear!"

"Alright, well make sure you stay warm."

The instructor walks away and I stand up, setting my blanket on my chair and taking hold of my empty bowl of soup.

"I can do that," Marco pushes me to the side gently.

"Marco I'm okay," I smile. "Just sit down and relax."

"Right," he scratches his forehead. "Sorry."

"Don't be, I appreciate your help!" I try to cheer him up since he looks bummed. "Really Marco, you're always there for me and I'm very thankful"

Marco gives me a warm smile and I head over to set my dishes in the washing pit. I smile at the ladies who are helping do the cleaning duty.

I thank them and make my way back to my table, passing by a group of boys. I hear them talking and I recognize my name in their conversation.

"We all want to get with Sophie, Reece." One of them says. "It's total bullshit that you've gotten with her."

"No I have!" Reece leans onto the table and drops his voice to a whisper. I hide behind one of the pillars in and eavesdrop. "Happened a month ago. Sorry to inform you boys, but she wasn't that great. In fact, total let down."

I go to take a step towards them to set the record straight, but someone beats me to it.

"A total let down?" Jean sets his hands on the table the boys are at and he leans down. "How could something that didn't happen, be a let down?"

"How would you know prick?" Reece eyes him. "I bet you got with her too. She seems pretty easy, I mean she did kiss Marco in front of everyone."

"You're a real piece of work," Jean laughs sarcastically. "Just stop spreading rumors."

Jean stands tall and turns on his heel, starting to walk away. Reece looks to his friend and hits his shoulder saying 'watch this', then grabs his cup of water.

"Hey Jean," Reece approaches the other boy and tosses the water on him.

"What the hell!?" Jean pushes Reece back roughly.

"Whoops, my bad." Reece steps back and holds his hands up in defense, laughing.

Jean grabs the blonde by his collar and pulls him to his face. Reece continues smiling and then whispers to Jean.

"You wanted to get with her too, didn't you? Are you mad that I got to her first? Did you want all of that to yourself?" Reece steps back. "Well too bad. Everyone here has already had a taste."
