Vic is up first, effortlessly hitting a bullseye his first try. My eyes widen and I let out a laugh through my nose. I'm impressed.

"Vic what place were you in your class?" I question.

"Sixth," he throws the next dart and it lands right next to the other in the center.

"Wow," I gape. "Impressive."

"You placed sixth too, right Jean?" Elizabeth smiles at him.

"Yeah," he laughs. "But I don't think I can hit three straight bullseyes in a row."

"I believe in you," she reaches up and places a kiss on Jeans cheek. "For good luck!"

Jean stares at the blonde, taken aback from her forwardness. He looks over at me and I just advert my gaze, trying to get a hold of my anger. She barely knows the guy and she's kissing him on the cheek.

Vic nudges my shoulder with his and it's as if he's telling me it's okay. I smile up at him and watch Jean take the three darts in his hand.

"Come on Jean!" Elizabeth cheers.

The other guards circle around our game and begin watching. Jean points a dart and the board, closing one eye and he releases it. It hits the 20 spot.

"Good job!" The she devil places her hands on jeans shoulders and squeezes them.

I don't know why, but that action pissed me off more than the kiss on his cheek. Jeans back is one of the reasons I was attracted to him. His shoulders are broad and the muscles on his back are solid. I want to be the only one running my hands over it.

I take a deep breath and watch Jean throw his last two darts into the board, scoring thirty points in total.

(I kind of get how to play darts, but I'm changing the rules in this haha)

Jean hands me the darts he pulled from the wood and his fingers linger on my palm. I look up at him and he winks.

"Let's see you hit three bullseyes like Vic," he steps back behind me. "Just like back at training."

"Why are you cheering on the enemy?" Elizabeth puts her hand on her hip.

"Because I like when she shows off."

Elizabeth doesn't answer and I take hold of the first dart, pointing it at the target. Trick to this is not giving yourself a lot of time to focus on the spot you want. The longer you stare, the easier it is to mess up. Once I lock on to where I want the dart to go, I release it.

The dart hits the center and I smile. I hear the others clap and I take the second dart, getting another bullseyes. Time for third... I let it go and it hits just outside the middle.

"Oh bummer," Elizabeth fakes a frown. "Better luck next time."

She brushes last me and takes the darts from the board. I don't move and just watch her with my jaw set. She turns and walks over to me and pushes me back out of her way. It wasn't hard or anything, but it was still rude.

"Sorry you disappointed Jean," she whispers for only me to hear.

I roll my eyes and join Jean by his side. He has his arms crossed over his chest, but he takes his fingers and pinches my arm softly.

"Good job," he looks down at me.

"Thanks," I feel my cheeks light up red.

Elizabeth goes to throw her first dart and it doesn't even hit the board. It hits the wall and falls to the ground.
