"Alright, let's go a couple streets over and see how the others are doing," Vic stands and we follow him through the scattered citizens of Trost.

I wonder which group is over there? It doesn't matter which one of my friends it is, but I kind of hope it's Jean... I still don't feel comfortable with him being with that blonde girl.

I'm by no means saying I'm ugly, but next to her I feel like I'm nothing. She has the looks, the body, and I'm sure her personality is amazing.

Jean and I aren't official, we just both know we're interested. This means he's open to changing his feelings and falling for whoever he wants. It's not my place to stop him.

We round the corner and I spot Jeans bicolored hair sitting on a wood box with the other three. I recognize James and the other two girls. I wasn't able to hear what the blondes name is, but she looks like an Elizabeth. The red head also seems like a Mary, so I'm just going to assume.

"Yo!" Reece calls out and holds his hand up.

Jean and the others look over to us as we approach them. I smile at the boy I like and he gives me a warm beam back.

"Have any fun?" The blonde asks Reece.

"Liza... You should've seen it! Sophie completely humiliated this grown ass man! She even broke his nose and he lost two of his teeth!"

So it is Elizabeth, of course she has some hot nickname too... My feelings just keep getting more complicated.

"Really?" She grins. "That's insane! Way to go Sophie."

She smiles her bright teeth at me and I look at her green eyes. I envy that about her too... Mine are hazel and have that weird brown in them. Hers are perfect.

"Are you okay?" Jean stands and scans over my face and body, looking for injuries.

"Oh yeah," I wave him off. "I wouldn't even call it a fight. Dude was down within thirty seconds."

"Well it's been boring here," he looks at the Garrison members in his group. "We've just been chatting."

"Yeah, about what?" I question, curious as to what he could've been talking about with the blonde.

"Like the time Jean broke Reece's nose," she laughs and it sounds like an angels. I'm envious.

"What!? Why are you telling people that!?" Reece pouts. "You caught me off guard, it wasn't fair."

"Did he tell you why he broke his nose?" I ask her.

"Something about splashing water on him," she looks up at Jean from where she's sitting.

"Ahh," I rock back and forth on my feet. "It sure was crazy."

So he didn't say it was to defend me... I mean that's not really important, but it would've been nice if he told her.

"Sophie," Jean laughs. "Elizabeth has an annoying brother just like you and she was telling me she used to put bugs in his bed. That's so funny!"

"Yeah funny," I fake a chuckle.

"Hey Sophie," Mary looks over to me. "Do you have any water on you? Elizabeth here totally blanked on bringing some."

"Sorry, no."

"It's fine," she smiles sweetly.

"I'll go get some now," Elizabeth stands up. "Come with me Jean."

"Sure," he replies, then looks at me. "I'll be back."

"Mhmm," I bite my lip in annoyance. Why does she need him? Does it take two people to fill up a water bottle?
