🎞️ - kaede caught up to (y/c) after class, smiling brightly. " hey , would you want to go see that new movie after school ? i can pay if you need ! "
💤 - the bell for the end of class rang, and (y/c) went to pack up when they noticed kaede, asleep with her head in her arms on her desk. they gently shook her shoulder, and she woke up slowly, glancing up at them. " ... huh ? wait , was i asleep ... ? i'm sorry , that's ... really embarrassing ... "
📚 - " hey , i know you weren't here yesterday , but they gave us a group project and paired us up , " kaede told (y/c), sliding into the desk next to them.
🎐 - " i know we just met a few weeks ago , but it feels like we've been friends for way longer , " kaede admitted sheepishly, looking off to the side.
🎶 - " wait , you ... actually want to hear me talk about the piano ? " kaede asked incredulously. she seemed surprised that anybody would voluntarily listen to her talk about it.
🌄 - " no way am i going outside , it's way too ( hot / cold ) ! " kaede insisted with a smile, pulling her wrist out of (y/c)'s grip and shaking her head.

upon returning to their locker one day, (y/c) found a small note slipped inside. when they opened it, they noticed that it was addressed to themselves, with a short message reading ' meet me at the fountain after school '. it was only signed off with a heart— whoever sent this must have wanted to remain anonymous. - 💌
kaede and (y/c) were on a date, a good few months into their relationship. they were sitting outside, watching the stars, when all of a sudden they made eye contact. after a moment, it seemed like both of them were thinking the same thing. she leaned in closer to their face. " (y/c) ... is this okay ? can i kiss you ? " - 💓
" hey , hey , careful ... ! i can't walk quickly like this , you know ! " kaede giggled, clinging onto (y/c) for dear life as they led her along — they'd blindfolded her in order to surprise her with something, leading her along to show her. - 💝
(y/c) and kaede had decided to cuddle, and (y/c) was almost asleep when kaede decided to hold them tighter and pepper kisses all over their face and neck. when they complained about sleeping, kaede laughed. " aww , don't say that ! am i not allowed to want to spend time with you when you're awake ? " - 💗

" i know i'm not the best at science , but ... a c ? this was our biggest test of the semester ! this is going to tank my whole grade ! " kaede sniffled, curled up on the couch. - 🎒
" oh my god , just ... s - stay still , okay ? we'll figure this out , but if it hurts to move, then don't , " kaede insisted, after (y/c) fell and ended up injuring themselves in some way. - ⚕️
" what ... ? n -no , of course i'm not tired , why would you say that ? " kaede laughed, visibly exhausted. besides, (y/c) had heard her playing piano in her lab in the middle of the night the previous night. - 🌙
in the middle of the horror movie that kaede and (y/c) were watching, kaede noticed (y/c) start to tense up and flinch more at the jumpscares. " hey , is this too much for you ? " she whispered. - 🎃
