today was the day. it was (y/c)'s first day at a new school— but it wasn't just any high school. it was the famous u.a. high school, the school with the #1 hero program in the whole country. with the majority of the population having some sort of a quirk— a superhuman ability— some had inevitably used their own to do evil. on the other hand, the professional heroes that fought that evil were praised and treated like celebrities. it was almost every kid's dream to grow up and be a hero someday.
and now, here they were. this school was everyone's best chance at becoming a real hero. it almost seemed like a dream— especially since the school's acceptance rate was so absurdly low. the entrance exams had been extensive and exhausting, and (y/c) could barely believe they made it through it all.
but they had, and they were here now. as exciting as all of this was, the fact that (y/c) had to make new friends and readjust to a new school was certainly daunting. where were they going to start?
as if answering the question in their head, a tall girl with blonde hair passed them on their right side, quickly heading into the school building with a bright smile on her face. (y/c) recognized her— they'd seen her at the entrance exams! her quirk was especially good against those robots, they recalled. maybe they should start trying to make new friends now!
