the tall girl wrapped her arm around (y/c)'s shoulder, keeping them upright as they began to walk in the direction of the first floor bathroom. " i know you're excited to get there , but can we slow down ? "
(y/c) had been able to stay out of trouble for the most part in these past few weeks, but just ten minutes ago, they'd had an unfortunate run-in with one of the school's worst bullies. they knew they were bleeding in a few places, and could feel a couple spots where they knew bruises would form the next day. kaede, being pretty tough, had managed to pull them out of the scuffle without getting too hurt- but now she was just trying to get them to the bathroom, and get them cleaned up.
if (y/c) had had to guess who would be the one to comfort them and help them out after being hurt, kaede akamatsu would not have been close to the top of the list. but despite how much it seemed like she didn't care about anyone or anything, she seemed genuinely concerned for (y/c)'s well-being, guiding them to the gender neutral single stall, so nobody else would be able to barge in on them.
