intro
everyone in wonderland knew about kaede akamatsu. the 'rude, unmannerly' girl wanted for several crimes against the crown, the worst of which being treason. she had a hefty reward on her head, and anyone who was able to turn her in to the royal military would be paid generously for their good deed, and the girl would be executed. there were wanted posters all around of her face, so anybody who knew her would know at first sight who she was. nobody seemed to care that her 'treasonous' crime was only 'stealing royalty's tarts', which she was even framed for.
some inhabitants of wonderland were too scared of the stories they heard about her, and others were bent on finding the girl and turning her in to the guards. but to do that, people said you'd need to search for her. but, unfortunately for her, she'd end up running into people more often than they'd end up running into her.

scenario one
(y/c) certainly wasn't expecting the girl that they'd heard about so much to find them on her own. the reward made it seem like she'd be hard to find, but that would prove to be wrong.
minding their own business, in their own corner of wonderland, (y/c) was having what seemed to be an unusually normal day, when they started to hear yelling from off in the woods. what was going on?
out of nowhere, a tall blonde girl burst into the clearing, out of breath. it didn't take long for (y/c) to recognize her— she was that girl from the wanted posters! kaede akamatsu! noticing a particularly large and wide tree, the girl hid herself from whatever group had been yelling, pressing herself against the trunk while she caught her breath. when she was finally able to take in her surroundings, she froze, wide-eyed, staring at (y/c). desperate, she glanced backwards, and then when she turned back to them, she put a finger to her lips, silently pleading with them not to rat her out.

scenario two: party
(y/c) knew about kaede akamatsu— and even though they could certainly use the money if they so happened to see her, they'd never dream of turning the girl in. they'd been in trouble with the crown before, and they knew what it was like to be given so harsh a sentence for something so trivial. handing kaede in would basically be sentencing her to death.
