Chapter - 19

'Lyndy & Jackson' is a love story, primarily the love story between Amy & Ty.
We hope this chapter brings you a smile, and restores a little joy. Especially in the light of what happened in the Heartland TV series, chapter 14, episode 1.
In all 3 of our stories, both Amy & Ty are
alive & well; they always will be.

Chapter -19
'The man in my heart'

Amy awoke at 1:40 am. Her mind was too busy for sleep, she stared up at the ceiling. Ty was curled up next to her, his head on her shoulder.

Amy had no idea, sleeping with a man could be so........intimate, and wonderful.

She felt Ty's slow rhythmic warm breath on her chest; she had learned not to react to her need to giggle. His sleeping breath initially tickled her; but Amy soon grew to love it; it helped calm her, and helped her fall asleep. A metronome of strength.....to sooth Amy's emotions.

Amy stared out the window at eerie Noctilucent clouds; floating slowly by at over 50,000 feet up. They were the most distant clouds on the planet & existed in the mesosphere. Some of Amy's memories of her mum seemed that far away. Every year memories of her mums voice, the softness of her touch, and the warmth of her embrace, all faded from Amy's mind. She wanted so bad to tell her mom, she was pregnant again. Her mom would have 4 grandchildren; Georgie, Katie, Lyndy, and maybe 'Jackson Tyler',  if Ty liked that name too.

Ty had recently gotten Amy pregnant, and she told him at a romantic dinner, at Guthrie's Restaurant, just a few night's ago.
Amy smiled & replayed Ty's reaction in her mind.......

"OMG Amy!! He jumped up from the table & lifted Amy up into his arms. His whole body was electrified with excitement. He'd never said anything directly, but Amy knew Ty wanted a boy. A son to play ball with, go fishing, and work on engines with.
Boys will be boys!!

Amy's thoughts wandered back in time to the driveway, where she first met Ty ......years ago.

"Hey watch it!! .....What are you doing??

I want to know what kind of idiot runs his truck around a horse!!??

Nice to meet you too!!..........names Ty.

What are you doin' here??

I'm workin'.

You can't smoke here!!

Whatever.......
........some lady hired me, alright!!

My mother.

Is she as friendly as you are??!

She was killed in a car accident a few weeks ago".

Amy remembered staring at him, from high atop her horse. Her look of contempt was like a spear into his heart.

Amy slid her hand down Ty's arm, and found his hand; he normally held her breasts all night. But tonight his hand rested on Amy's tummy, she knew he wanted to be close to their next child.......to her womb, where a new life was being knit together.

Back then in the driveway, Amy would have laughed if someone said that kid is going to ask to marry you.
You say yes, and give him a baby girl.
A few years later you're pregnant again, with his 2nd child.

Amy turned her head and looked at Ty.....he was sound asleep. She kissed his cheek and whispered; I love you!!
He stirred just a little and moved his hand an inch on Amy's tummy. She wondered what he was dreaming about. A few nights ago, he yelled out in his sleep, and kicked off the covers....
Later, Amy found out Ty was fighting Chase, and beating the crap out of him. She never understood a man's need to pummel another man, over a woman. The woman would choose the man she wanted. But evidently Ty's dislike for Chase Powers had never left his system. Amy had thought about discussing Ty's memory of Chase with him, but didn't know how to broach the subject. She knew Ty was 100 times the man, Chase would ever be.
