Chapter 21 / 'Ty, what's wrong'??
By; Mike Hurley

Amy opened her eyes and yawned; she had to pee, but felt Ty's hand holding her breast. They usually ended up cuddling like spoons after sex. She could feel Ty's slow, content breath on her neck. He was sound asleep; she took care of his male needs right after midnight.
And that was right after Ty was certain he had met Amy's needs and made her feel like a rocket, taking off to Mars. Amy smiled; her husband knew exactly what she liked, and he could get her firing on all rockets, and bringing her to the edge of screaming in estacy.

The morning sun reached deep into the loft and shone on their bed.

Amy looked at the clock, it was only 5:30. She was anxious to bring AnnaLee home, and realized her need to take care of the coyote had woken her.

She pushed her foot in between Ty's legs and snuggled deeper into him. He was warm and male, and felt so good. She felt his morning gear pressing against her back; it was wide awake, and standing at attention. Just like it did every morning.

She resisted her need to urinate, and sighed; .....being in Tyler Borden's arms, was the very best place to be. Amy closed her eyes and fell back asleep; her heart just inches from his. Ty's strong male hand, holding her soft, and tender breast.....

Colonel Jason Peterson tightened his restraints, as turbulence shook the fighter jet violently. He never liked thunderstorms. As a child growing up, on an eastern Montana Farm, Thunder & Lightning would often wake him at night.

Jason looked at his radar and decided to climb out of the storm. He shoved both throttles forward & pulled the stick back. He felt the instant acceleration from the F-15's dual Pratt & Whitney engines; ......a split second later he felt the kick of the afterburners automatically igniting.
In 22 seconds he burst straight up out of the muck, and leveled off at 61,500 feet. He set his speed to Mach 2.1, and turned on his autopilot. 34 minutes to rendezvous with the first of 3 refueling tankers, he was anxious to be home.

The meeting at the Pentagon had been arduous; his boss wanting him to apply for another job. He'd move to Virginia and be promoted to general.
Jason had F-15 aviation fuel in his blood.
He loved training with his men, and leading top secret missions to classified destinations.

Desk jobs were for a softer breed of men.

Jason wondered what it was going to feel like to have a brand new little granddaughter laying in his arms. Jen was due any day now.
They were going to name the baby MaryAnn.

He knew Jen missed her mom terribly.
It wasn't fair he told himself; but life has storms that pop up in the middle of no where.
Sometimes you can fly above them, other times, you dive in and fight your way through them.

He looked over at the ejection seat status display. Then his eyes moved up and met
MaryAnn's. She was 28 in the photo that hung in his fuselage. She was gorgeous; the love of his life.........

I miss you.....he whispered.

Ty, I'm going to call Wendy & see is she & Clive could come early afternoon tomorrow for a ride. I'd like the 4 of us to ride through the meadows to the river & have a snack; then come back here for an early dinner.
I really like them Ty, & I'd like the 4 of us to become friends!!
Is that ok honey??

Sounds perfect Amy!! Ty replied as he played with Lyndy. But what about our daughter; I think we need to be taking Lyndy with us more & not asking Lisa or Georgie to babysit all the time.
