“Peter? Peter, can you hear me?” I call out to him, hoping he has already suited up.

“Morgan? I thought you didn't want to be involved?” Thankfully, he answers quickly.

“I felt bad letting you do this on your own. We're partners, I should be out there with you. So, where are you?” He guides me to his current location up high.

“Welcome back,” he states nonchalantly. “Glad to be back.”

Peter decides to start, “Morgan is with me now, we are in position. Stick with the plan, Morgan, you focus on getting everyone away. Block debris with your wings.” I nod.

“Roger that.” Beck states.
“How're the suits?” Fury asks us.
“Works like a dream, Fury,” I respond first.

“The suit's great. It's awesome. It's a little tight around the ol' webshooter.” He readjusts as he says this. I can't help but groan, “That was so uncalled for.”

We sit and wait until something happens. I watch the crowd walk around with various costumes and decorative clothing.

The carousel catches my eye, it's gorgeous. The lights glow and illuminate the surrounding people. I notice MJ. What the hell is she doing out here! She's supposed to be safe inside.

She wanders off, but my eyes stay locked on her. Damn her and her natural curiosity.

Then the ground starts to break apart, lava spews out of the ground. It slowly climbs the statue that MJ was currently standing in front of.

Everyone starts to run away as the statue bursts and reveals the burning creature.

“Okay, he's here! Beck are you ready? You know what to do.” Spidey hastily speaks to Mysterio. “On your lead, Spider-Man.”

I activate my translator from my watch. As I speak it will translate and project it.

Peter jumps away and I head down too. As I herd the people away, I keep my wings fully extended in an attempt to block anything that may be flying this way.

I continue this until I can't see anyone else, so I scan the area hoping anyone left is alive.

Nothing comes up until a heat signature shows up behind a corner. As I get closer I realize it's MJ. After landing, I get closer. I ask her if she is okay, however, my translator is still on. She looks confused. “Angličtina?” I state, staying in character.

She nods, so I switch to English with the appropriate accent. “You have to get out of here!” MJ doesn't move, she simply stares into my helmet, trying to see my face.

“I know who you are.” I jump out of my skin. No, she doesn't, there is no way. “Morgan, come on, you can tell me. You're my best friend.” Something comes flying towards us. To prevent her from getting hurt, I push her closer to the wall.

Both of my hands touch the wall beside her head. Normally I'd be much shorter than MJ but with the tech in my suit, I can appear two inches taller. I back away after I know she's not in immediate danger.

“Morgan, it's too much of a coincidence that both you and Spider-Man are here right now. Both you and Peter snuck away from the Opera!”

Shit! She knows about Peter too! “Madam please, I need to take you to safety. After that, you can talk to your friends.” I wrap a wing around her, trying to push her away from the ongoing fight.

However, before we can leave, a chunk of metal lands in front of us. “That guy back there uses the exact same webs as Spider-Man!” Rolling my eyes, I pick it up. 'This is strange, what would he have pulled this off of. None of these buildings are made of metal.'

I decided to ask him about it later.

“Okay, let's go!” I yell sternly. After asking where she's staying I walk her back.

She thanks me and continues to insist that I'm Morgan. I would just tell her right now, but it's not just my identity I would be revealing, I'll need to talk with Peter first.

Back at the crime scene, the fight is over. I see Spidey helping Beck up. After he stands on his own, I hug the black-clad Spider-Man.

“So, it's over?” Hill asks Beck
“That was the last of them” He responds
“But not the last threat we'll ever face. We need to stay vigilant.” Fury talks as he walks towards Beck. “There's a void in this world for someone like you. Hill and I are going to Europol headquarters in Berlin tomorrow. You should join us.” Beck stands and the two shake hands.
“Thank you, I might just take you up on that.”

Then Fury turns and looks at Peter and me. “You got gifts, Parker, but you didn't want to be here.” Peter tries to talk, but Fury continues. “I'd love to have you in Berlin too. But you got to decide whether you're going to step up or not. Stark chose you, he made you an avenger. I need that. The world needs that. Maybe Stark was wrong.”

Fury stares at him for a few seconds, “Was he? The choice is yours.” When he turns to me my heart quickens, 'What's he going to say about me?'

“And you, Tiny Stark, It'd be nice to have a Stark back in the field.” Fury leaves and I pat Peter on the back. I don't have a clue what to say to make him feel better, frankly, I don't even know how he's feeling about all that.

Before I get the chance to try, Beck is approaching us. He invites Peter to get a drink, Peter turns to watch him walk away and says, “I'm not twenty-one.”

“The drinking age is eighteen here,” I tell him.
“I'm not eighteen either.”
“I know, I'm just making sure you knew.”

Peter went with Beck, and I went back to the hotel for a nap.
