I make it to Pete's place, Ned should already be inside. When I knock May answers, "There's my favorite Morgan!" She welcomes me in with a hug. "How many Morgans do you know?" I say as I return the hug. She just laughs and pulls away. May and I always hit it off. She's always saying I'm the daughter she never got. Guess I think of her as the mother I never got.

"Is Ned here yet?" She looks around the room and thinks for a second. "Yes, but Peter still hasn't gotten back." I nod and head to Peter's room. There's Ned sitting on the bed with the basic structure of the Death Star. "Hey, Morgan, just in time. But, as per usual, Pete is late." I shrug and find my way to the floor. Not even a minute later we're then interrupted by the window opening from the outside.

Spider-Dork peaks in a little, clearly not seeing either of us. He sticks to the ceiling and closes the window slowly with his foot. He pulls off his mask and reveals his face, and it's oddly similar to Peter Parker's. The mask lands directly in my lap, I try to suppress the urge to laugh. He continues crawling to his door. Webbing the door to close it. He pushes it till it clicks.

He turns and sees us finally, Ned is absolutely dumbfounded, mouth wide open and all. Then he drops the Lego build. I catch it by the top, it disconnects and the rest shatters on the floor.

"What was that, " May yells from the other room.

Peter quickly responds, "Uh, it's nothing. It's nothing!" I'm laughing harder than I ever have before. Pete looks at me with a strange look in his eyes.

"What's so funny?" He says in a whisper. I can barely respond, but I manage to push out a quick response.

"You're not good at this secret identity thing." Then Ned comes out of shock.

"You're the Spider-Man. From YouTube."

"I'm not. I'm not." He presses the spider emblem on his suit. As if taking off the suit would convince us he isn't Spidey. The suit slips off his body and reveals just how jacked he really is. Unexpected from Peter Parker, but not from Spider-Man.

"You were on the ceiling."
"No, I wasn't. Ned, Morgan, what are you two doing in my room?"
"May let us in. You said we were gonna finish the Death Star."
"You can't just bust into my room!"

May comes in and lets her hair down. She waves a rag in front of her face to fan away the smoke. "The turkey meatloaf recipe Is a disaster. Let's go to dinner. Thai? Morgan, Ned, you want Thai?"

"Yes, " Ned states simply. I nod my head.
"No, they've got plans."
"No I don-"  I try to talk, but Ned speaks louder than me. "A thing to do after."

"Okay, " May says before she realizes the state of Peter's clothes -or lack thereof- and waves a finger at the boy. "Maybe put on some clothes when a girl is here." Ned laughs, "what girl?" I glare at him and he flinches slightly.

She leaves and closes the door, but a few seconds later she opens it back, leaving it cracked enough for her to see in if need be. "You understand the rules."

"Oh, she doesn't know." I am blushing from the implication of May's words and actions. I turn away from the boys hoping they would continue without noticing me.

"Nobody knows, I mean, Mr. Stark knows because he made my suit, but that's it." I flinch at the mention of my dad.

"Tony Stark made you that? Are you an Avenger?" Ned whispers enough that I barely hear it.

Peter hesitates to answer, "Yeah basically."

"Liar, " that wasn't meant to come out of my mouth.

"Woah, " you can tell Ned's world had been completely altered. Likely he's sifting through all his Spider-Man memories and realizing they were all his best friend. Every video of him doing a flip, stopping a criminal, and swinging around the streets of New York City.

"You can't tell anyone about this. You gotta keep it a secret."

"That's not gonna happen, not with Ned, " I jump, still sitting in my corner of embarrassment.

"A secret? Why?" I finally turn back to the boys from my spot, thankfully Peter put a shirt on.

"You know what she's like. If she finds out people try and kill me every single night, she's not going to let me do this anymore. Come on, Ned, please. Morgan understands." He gestures to me and I shrug.

"Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. I'll level with you. I don't think I can keep this a secret. This is the greatest thing that's ever happened to me, Peter."

"Ned, May cannot know. I cannot do that to her right now, you know. I mean, everything that happened with her, I... Please."

"Okay."
"Just swear it, okay. You too, Morgan." He turns to look at me.
"I swear, " we said in unison.
"Thank you." Peter walks away and combs through his hair.

"I can't believe this is happening right now."

"Oh believe it, Spider-Dork." He looks at me, "That nickname does not stay, that is a one-time thing." I shake my head and he sighs.

"Can I try the suit on?" Ned inquires.
"No."
"What about me? " I say knowing I won't get a different response. He doesn't answer me.
"How does it work? Is it magnets? How do you shoot strings?"
"I'm gonna tell you about this at school tomorrow, okay?"

"So, how do you do this and the Stark Internship?" I cross my arms in a stubborn manner. Ned replies "Yeah, how, that's gotta be a whole lot of stress." Peter looks annoyed with me. "This is the Stark Internship." He quickly pushes Ned out of the room and leans on the door. His hand quickly connects to his face.

"Uh, you can come to get Thai with us, Morgan. I just thought Ned might slip up." I nod and walk towards him. "As much as I love Thai, I should be headed home." Peter moves out of the way and I grab the knob. "When'd you get a watch?" He eyes my gadget watch.

"My father gave it to me. I cherish it more than anything he has ever given me." He looks to be editing his thoughts. "I never see you wear it at school." I shrug and sigh. "I don't want to lose it or, it might get stolen at school." He nods in understanding. "You don't talk about your father much. What's he like?" I cringe a little.

"Uh, he's normal. I guess, " besides the dozen Ironman suits he owns. "We don't live together, I'm on my own, but he visits. Real busy with work." He looks at me funny "How do you live alone?" I quickly open the door and leave. Realizing I shouldn't have told him that little detail. I exit the room and Aunt May waves goodbye. Then sadly, I'm headed home.
