WILL POV:
If that stupid security guard doesn't stop following Nico around soon, i'm going to loose it. He pops into every single one of Nicos classes, he follows us to lunch, he even watches as Nico leaves and enters the building. They act like he's a ticking time bomb their just waiting to explode.
"Is he ever gonna stop following us to lunch?" Jason murmurs just loud enough for me and Percy to hear.
"I was just thinking the same thing," I respond glancing over my shoulder and accidentally locking eyes with Officer Aaron.
"What?" Nico asked, as if I had just pulled him out of a day dream.
"Nothing," I say. He always got really moody whenever someone mentioned how there always seemed to be a teacher watching him.
As we were walking into lunch, we walked past Octavian and his friends. I saw Octavian shoulder past Nico, but of coarse Nico couldn't even say anything with Officer Aaron 10 feet away. So I did.
"Hey!" I snapped at Octavian. I had to muster all of courage to do it but I couldn't stand seeing Octavian doing that to Nico.
"What?" Octavian sneered, turning to face me. Even though I was a good amount taller than him I still had no doubt in my mind that he could beat my ass.
"You gotta stop treating Nico like that, he may let you try and walk all over him but I'm not gonna watch that anymore."
Jason and Percy stepped up closer to Octavian as well, backing me up.
I saw Officer Aaron stand up straighter as he walked closer, but his eyes were more watching Nico.
"Just leave it will," Nico said, noticing it as well. He put his hand on my chest to move me away but I didn't let him.
"And what are you gonna do about it?" Octavian snarled, in a mocking tone.
I didn't really know what to say to that. What was I gonna do about it?
"You need to leave him alone," Jason spat, raising an intimidating eyebrow at him.
"Guys, leave it," Nico snapped in a more forceful tone.
"Awe is mr tough guy scared," Luke mocked, jutting his bottom lip out.
"Yeah, fat chance," Nico snickered, he tried to push me away again but I still didn't let him.
"You seem pretty scared to me, trying to run away," Kelli added.
Nicos jaw clenched. I could tell it was really hard for him to not try and fight back but with Officer Aaron watching he couldn't.
"You seem to be the ones who's scared Octavian," Percy said. "Only ever facing Nico when's there teachers around."
Octavian looked a bit thrown back and at a loss for words. "Well maybe if teachers weren't stalking Nico," Octavian finally said.
"Well maybe if you weren't a lying bitch," Nico snarled, causing Officer Aaron to start walking over.
"What's going on here?" Officer Aaron said, walking up behind Octavian and his friends.
"Diangelo and his friends just came and were harassing us sir," Kelli said, in her most innocent voice.
"You four come with me to the office."
"What no! She's lying! Octavian just about knocked Nico to the ground pushing into him so we told him he needs to stop," Jason said defensively.
"Likely story kid," he responded grabbing Nicos arm and starting to drag him off, all of us trailing behind him. Behind the back of the security guard Octavian was laughing with his friends.
