NICO POV:
"They were all expelled," Percys jaw dropped to the floor.
"Am I dreaming?" Amber mused.
"That's what I thought," Will adds, squeezing my hand.
"And Elijahs gonna have his jaw wired shut for about a year," I say smirking.
"You must have a really good punch," Leo says taking a bite of his sandwich. "Wish I was there to see it, or someone caught it on video."
"Me too," Annabeth agrees. "Must have been one hell of a punch."
"Well it's not the first jaw i've broken," I shrugged. "It's easier than you'd expect."
"Are you talking about one of those guys you put in the hospital?" Frank asked.
"Yeah, I broke one of their jaws, both of their noses, and one of their wrists. Oh and I knocked them both out cold and gave them nasty concussions."
Jason elbowed me in the side and pointed to the doors to where a girl with dark hair and skin started walking in. "That's the new girl I was talking about," he said.
"Go talk to her," Will says nodding in her direction.
She was moving to sit with the popular girls who had just beckoned her over. They seemed to have claimed her, probably because of how she was effortlessly pretty. She had choppy brown hair that she had probably cut her self and no makeup on and was easily prettier than all the other girls at that table.
"I can't just walk up to her!" Jason argued. "I mean what do I even say?"
"Just say like hey I heard your new here and thought you could use a friend and introduce yourself," Annabeth instructed.
"Nico come with me," Jason said grabbing my arm.
"Me? Why?" I ask as he starts to pull me out of my chair.
"Because your Mr. Popular so if you come over to that table with me I won't look like an idiot."
"Fine," murmer following him over.
"Hey Nico," Kelsi coos, batting her eyelashes at me in a way that looked completely unnatural.
I nodded at her to show that I heard her so she hopefully wouldn't talk to me again.
"Hey," Jason said to the new girl, "My names Jason, I heard your new here so I just thought you might need some more friends or something so I wanted to say hi."
She smiled at Jason, "I'm Piper, nice to meet you."
I noticed that she had a tiny scar on her top lip, just like Jason did. I furrowed my eyebrows at her and I think she noticed because she glared at me and snapped, "Do you have a problem or something?"
The other girls all glared at her.
"This is that guy I was telling you about!" A blonde girl whispered to her.
"Yeah I don't care, he's looking at me funny," Piper said eyeing me curiously.
I shook my head and got my thoughts together, "Wait Jason stand next to her," I tell him, earning a questioning look but he does as I said.
My eyes widen as I realize the scar is on the exact same spot. "Jason do you have any other like scars other than your lip?" I ask.
He pulls up his shirt to reveal the scar from when he was stabbed and both Piper and I gasp.
"Holy shit dude," I say, "I think you just found your soulmate."
All the other girls gasp as Piper lifts her shirt revealing the same scar. "Okay what happened here, cause even I had to go to the doctor and get stitches for it," Piper asks Jason.
Jason looked at a loss for words but finally her question seems to hit him. "Oh, uhm, I was kinda stabbed?" He says scratching the back of his neck nervously.
Her jaw drops, "You were what?"
"It was kinda my fault though, he's not a bad guy," I cut in with, realizing she probably thinks he's some thug or old lady purse snatcher.
"Yeah some guys tried to attack Nico but I took the knife for him," Jason adds.
"That's crazy," she laughs.
Jason looks both surprised and relieved at her response. "Yeah," he finally says.
I wave to our table group for them to come over here and they all come over.
"What's going on?" Will asked me.
"Well, the new girls name is Piper and she's Jason's soulmate," I tell them.
All of there jaws drop, "What!" they all ask in unison.
