i looked at jack warily before he began to speak.

"ok, i honestly don't know how you're going to react to this, but i've been thinking about it for a while and now i want to tell you."

i slowly nodded, "okay then?"

he rubbed his eyes and ran a hand through his hair.

"i-i, i want to have another kid. i love amelia more than i can even put into words, and i feel like we could take another one." he said, looking up at me with concern in his eyes.

i let out a shaky breath and closed my eyes for a minute.

"ok, u-um, we can definitely handle another baby. but do you really want this, jack? i don't want you to tell me this and then regret it later," i said, taking his hand into mine.

he kissed the top of my hand and looked me straight in the eye.

"yes, princess. i want another child with you more than i want anything in the world."

i smiled and nodded quickly.

"i guess we could try," i smirked.

he laughed and leaned over to kiss me.
