SIX MONTHS LATER
brenda's pov
"come on, baby! you can say it again!" jack laughed, grabbing amelias arms and grinning.
she dug her chubby fingers into the couch and giggled.
"d-da," she managed to get out, still giggling from jack's excitement.
i grinned widely and quickly took a picture of amelia and jack lying on the floor.
she was almost a year old now, and a couple minutes ago she said something along the lines of "daddy."
guess that makes two of us.
"you can do it, sweetheart! come on, say it with me!" he gently took her hands and clapped them together, a huge grin on his face.
i laughed and put my phone away to sit next to them.
"i can't believe she can almost talk now," i said to jack, shaking my head.
he looked up for a second, the adorable grin still on his face.
"i know, she's so cute!"
i smiled and leaned down to kiss him.
