one week later

"jack, go check the tests! i'm way too scared," i whimpered, running a hand through my hair

he nodded and walked into the bathroom warily.

jack and i have recently trying for a baby, and i just took a few pregnancy tests to see if i was pregnant. i hope i am, because it would mean so much to jack and i.

i was snapped out of my thoughts by jack walking out of the bathroom. i looked up at him with a hopeful look in my eyes, only to be matched with a sad look on his face.

"brenda baby, i'm so sorry. we can try in a few months, again." he said, sighing.

i didn't even have to ask what he was talking about.

"oh my god, jack," i managed to get out.

he nodded sadly, and kissed the top of my head.

"don't worry, ok? we'll have another kid, i promise."
