"ok, bye mia! thanks for coming!" i said, before closing the door on the last of amelia's party guests.

i shut the door and sighed, looking around at the huge mess that the six year old's created.

i sat down on the couch next to jack, with josh on his lap. amelia was sitting in the den opening her presents.

"we have SO much to clean," jack sighed, rubbing his eyes.

"you think?" i replied, sarcastically.

i grabbed the small bowl of stale chips and started eating it, handing the bowl to jack.

before i could bite into the chip, he leaned over and kissed my lips.

"you did great, baby girl. the party was amazing, am loved it."

i blushed and kissed his cheek again.
