"Whoa, you reek of alcohol! When did you have the time to drink?" Akane asked him. Chishiya gave her a playful grin.

"I drank before I left and drank after I cleared a game. What?" Chishiya realized Akane was glaring at him.

"You could have died, dumbass!" She flicked his forehead with her finger, making him stumble back a little.

Being drunk like this was out of character for him. He had told her before that he didn't even like alcohol. But why did she even care? They just met each other a few days ago. This guy is dangerous and could sacrifice her for his own neck.

Chishiya took a lazy step towards her and put a hand on her cheek. His eyes were cat-like as always but it gave her a different vibe that time.

"So, you care about me huh?" He whispered by her ear. It sent shivers down her spine.

She hated how her body immediately reacts to him. She didn't want to fall for whatever he's doing. That would be like putting a noose on herself.

Akane placed a hand on his chest and gently pushed him back so he wouldn't lose his balance. Chishiya gave her a pout and let his arm fall back to his side. She had to admit that he definitely looked cute being like this. She wanted to be able to control him, the most dangerous guy in here.

Without meaning to, her eyes darted to a different direction. There was that guy again. He wasn't looking at her. He pumped his gun in the air as his comrades yelled to celebrate their victory. Akane kept her eyes on him as they all walked inside the bar.

"Want to drink?" Chishiya smirked, reading her mind. She merely nodded.

He placed an arm on her shoulders and pulled her closer to him before kissing her on the forehead. It was a sweet gesture but with Chishiya, it could mean something else.

They slowly walked inside the bar that was already packed with players. She never understood why there's always a lot of people here. It was like when members die, new ones come in as well.

They got their drinks and sat on the couch at the side. A lot of people were dancing, some were getting nasty on the sofa not caring about everyone else. They could just get a room. They were literally at a hotel.

Akane kept drinking until she got her buzz. Now, she was on the same vibe as Chishiya. But she didn't want whatever this was. They weren't together so she's free to do anything she wanted. Akane stood up, feeling more confident than before.

"I'll be right back," She turned to Chishiya and winked. Chishiya smirked and nodded before drinking another bottle.

Akane walked around, the people parting to make way for her. She shook her head and scoffed. She liked it but she also thought it was pathetic.

Soon enough, she found the person she was looking for. He was drinking while the girls on each side of him kissed his neck. She was irritated at the sight in front of her.

Akane couldn't stop herself and grabbed his arm without a warning and dragged him out of the bar. She kept walking until they got to the pool where there were only a few people.

She finally stopped walking and let go of his arm. Akane turned to him with her eyebrows furrowed. He had a blank look on his face, not like when he's with other girls. This offended her, was she not attractive to him?

"What the hell is your problem?" It was the first thing that came out of her mouth. She was frustrated. She didn't know why she felt bothered by him ignoring her.
