Akane had probably walked all around the place but she couldn't find Chishiya, Kuina, Usagi or Arisu. With a sigh, she walked into her room. The bed was already made and she couldn't remember if she did that before going out. Her gun was still beside her bed, untouched.

She walked over to her drawers and pulled out some fresh clothes. Akane wanted to smack herself, she wanted to get new ones at that mall but it didn't go as planned.

Akane took off her clothes and took a hot shower. In there, she started to think about what her plans were. The obvious choice was Chishiya. He was calm and he was her first. Even though Niragi had changed these past few days, it wasn't an assurance that he wouldn't go back to being an asshole.

After taking a shower, she quickly dried herself and put on her clothes. She wanted to wear shorts but she could see Niragi also made marks on her legs. She put the shorts and shirt back in the drawers and took out some black leggings and a hoodie instead.

She couldn't help but feel such a bitch choosing Chishiya right after she fucked another guy. She wasn't even sure if Chishiya would want her after that. Shaking her head, she walks out the door. Unlike other days, she didn't bring her gun. It would look weird with her choice of clothing.

Akane walked around the beach coolly, not really knowing where to go. She was just looking around. The sun was setting and more people were getting out of the hotel to either go to the bar or hang out beside the pool.

She didn't really feel like having a drink so she just turned back around and walked inside the hotel. A few minutes later, she found herself sitting at the edge of the rooftop. Being alone was calming, she had forgotten how good it was.

"So you're here too, eh?"

Akane slowly turned to look at Kuina who was now walking towards her. The girl had a contagious smile on her, making Akane smile right back. Kuina sat just beside her leaning back and using her hands to prop herself.

"Have you seen...you know..." It was awkward for Akane to say his name, she didn't know why. She was just slightly embarrassed of looking for him.

Kuina smiled at the girl beside her, shaking her head. As much as they were friends, she had already promised Chishiya to not say anything to Akane. She didn't know what was really going on between the two but she just wanted to keep herself in the middle.

"I don't know where he is but a little birdie told me he's locked in his room or something," Kuina winked at Akane with a smirk.

Akane was slightly stunned when Kuina winked at her. She had never seen a girl as cute as Kuina.

Kuina smiled and lightly patted her head, feeling like they were more like sisters than friends. In this world, it was hard to trust anyone but yourself but this girl in front of her made her want to trust her.

At that thought, Kuina stood up and offered a hand to Akane who gladly took it. The two of them walked back inside the hotel together. When they were just in front of a familiar door, Kuina had opened the door and pushed her inside.

Akane was shocked at what happened, finding herself now on the carpeted floor. She could hear Kuina laughing and apologizing if she hurt her right behind the now closed door. She tried to get up and open it but Kuina was on the other side keeping it still.

"Talk to him already, you both need it." Kuina said before leaving, her footsteps barely reached her ears.

Akane slowly let go of the doorknob and turned around to face the room. Chishiya was still on his bed sleeping like he didn't hear a thing. The man could probably sleep through a tornado.

She slowly walked over and sat on the edge of his bed. Akane turned on a lamp and watched his peaceful face. After all this time, she still gets mesmerized by the way he looked.

Akane lightly placed a hand on his cheek, holding her breath as she did so. She retrieved it back as soon as he moved, feeling like she shouldn't have done that.

Chishiya still with his eyes closed, grabbed her hand and put it back on his cheek. He kept in place using his hand, loving the familiar warm feeling she gave him.

Akane watched as Chishiya slowly opened his eyes to look at her. He gave her a lazy smile before letting go of her hand and sitting up on his bed.

"You're here. What a surprise. Is it my schedule now?"

Akane looked at him in utter shock. He said it so sarcastically that it clearly showed he was somewhat pissed at her. Well, she couldn't blame him.

"I'm just going to let this out, okay? If it wasn't obvious enough, I like you and I might have fallen for you. You act so dense that I just had to state the obvious." Chishiya rolled his eyes and sighed. It was against his conscience to actually admit that in front of her, fully knowing that she has been playing him. It was fun at first but when he realized he was already in too deep, it wasn't fun anymore.

"I like you too, Chishiya." Akane closed her eyes and forced herself to admit, the heart in her chest pounding.

Chishiya chuckled like he didn't really believe her. He had a lot of doubts because Akane was that good in playing with people's feelings. He brought a hand to her chin and made her look at him.

"Are you ready to tell that to Niragi?" He asked, challenging her.

"Niragi doesn't like me like that."

Lie. She was lying. Akane definitely knew what that guy felt for her but she felt the need to try to keep it from Chishiya.

"That wasn't the answer I was looking for, babe." By then, Chishiya's eyes were sharper than knives. She could feel them cut through her.

"I-I'm ready to tell him..." Akane muttered loud enough for him to hear.

"Good girl." Chishiya whispered, kissing her lips.

He couldn't help but feel happy. Chishiya knew that during those days the militants were away, Niragi tried his best to sway her but she still made her way back to him. He loved the feeling that she still chose him in the end.

"Take off your clothes." Chishiya commanded.

Akane was stunned for a moment, not believing he said that. Chishiya had a different vibe now.

"I'll be watching." Chishiya added, his eyes fixated on her.

There was something about the way he looked at her. It made her feel nervous as hell. Akane slowly took off her clothes, wishing she had just worn something with buttons.

Chishiya couldn't help but hold his breath as he looked at her body. It was full of marks, Niragi's marks. It couldn't have been him because they were separated for days and the ones he did were already fading by that time just before she disappeared.

He put a finger under her chin and tilted her head to look at him. She was nervous of what he had to say to her.

"I'll make you forget him."
