As soon as Akane walked inside the hotel, she was approached by An.

"There you are! Hatter has called another meeting. Apparently, there were two people who seemed like they were lurking outside the Beach." An explained as soon as she was in front of Akane.

"Oh but-" Akane was about to tell her that Niragi still had to pick up another car but An had already pulled her into the direction of their usual meeting room.

An wasn't the type to socialize between executives and militants but somehow, she was comfortable enough to do so with Akane. It was probably because they were alike in some ways.

When they got there, An let go of her arm and they walked inside together. There were two people with bags on their heads while they were tied to their chairs. Akane scrutinized their clothes, thinking they looked awfully familiar.

"Ah, Niragi is late again. Well, we can just start without him." Hatter announced.

Akane wanted to tell him that he was just getting another car but stopped herself before she could. Why would she care what others thought of him anyway? It wasn't her job to do or say things for him.

She glanced at the guy on the other side and smiled as he waved at her coolly. Akane didn't know why but she'd always think of him whenever she stops herself from doing anything with Niragi. It was like feeling guilty.

They weren't even together like that. She didn't know what they were nor does she want to ask him about it. Akane didn't have the time to ponder over stuff like that, she just went with the flow.

But even though she won't admit it, she had unfair treatment between Chishiya and Niragi. Whenever she gets involved with Chishiya, she was never afraid to go all out on him. But with Niragi, she was afraid to go deeper. If she knew it would be like this, she wouldn't have came to The Beach.

Hatter had now taken off the bags on the captives. Akane looked at the two, wondering how the hell they found out about this place.

"Arisu? Usagi?" She muttered.

The two stared at her in shock. They didn't expect that Akane was here in this place all along. She never really mentioned it to them. Not that she had the time to.

"Ah! You know each other! Splendid! This must mean that you two are brilliant at games as well." Hatter said. He told the two about the rules of the beach which was basically everything they had to know.

Akane felt her stomach drop when she thought Arisu was dumb enough to reject Hatter's offer. Good thing that he agreed or else they would have been dead by the next minute.

Hatter took their cards from them, happy that they had the cards that we were looking for. He gave them their locker bracelets before they were sent off to enjoy their stay at the utopia.

"So nice of you to join us, Niragi. We almost thought you couldn't fit our meeting in your busy schedule."

Niragi had just entered with an irritated look on his face. By Hatter's statement, Niragi turned to glare at Akane who was trying not to laugh.

"Well, that's it for today. You may all go now." Hatter dismissed us just after Niragi took a seat.

It was pretty funny to everyone else. Aguni even cleared his throat to keep his composure. Niragi groaned to himself, pissed at Hatter but couldn't say anything.

Akane eventually stood up and went out, Chishiya right behind her. Niragi couldn't do anything else but look at how Chishiya placed a hand on Akane's waist.

He wanted to ask her badly what he could do to make her leave him but he didn't want to make it seem like he was desperate for her. Niragi didn't want to go back to being soft. There were just some things that Chishiya could do that he couldn't. His pride was just way too high.

Of course, he knew that she wasn't the type to come begging for him. Why would she? She has Chishiya wrapped around her fingers already. His thoughts consumed him.

Niragi got up and went straight to the bar. He could only drown himself in alcohol for now. His eyes scanned the place, there were a lot of girls there that would even kneel for him but none of them really gave him the type of feeling a certain shorty did. But they would have to do.

As soon as he sat down on the couch, girls immediately placed themselves on either side of him. They were desperate for his attention and he was more than willing to give it to them at the moment.

Once again, Chishiya had found himself in Akane's room. He was lying on the bed as Akane sat on the edge. She chuckled at his position.

"You have your own bed. Why are you stealing mine?" Akane asked though she wasn't really bothered by his presence. But she noticed that he seems to be coming here more than his room.

"I love your bed, it smells like you." Chishiya mumbled, making her heart skip a beat. He said it so coolly but it had so much impact on her.

"That explains why you slept here even when I was out." She chuckled at him.

Chishiya pulled her beside him, hugging her. This stunned her though it shouldn't. She should be used to this side of Chishiya by now. Still, it gave her a different feeling. She was so used to Chishiya being cold and a meanie to others.

"I could just hold you like this all day," Chishiya mumbled through her hair. He had buried her face to her neck. Somehow, she smelled like Vanilla.

Akane was stiff, too afraid to move. She didn't want to disturb him when he's like this. It was just too precious that she wants to take it all in. Hopefully, she won't ever forget this.

Chishiya moved and pulled her on his chest. She could feel the sound of his heartbeat that seemed to calm her. Akane's hand was on his chest that was slowly rising and falling indicating that he had fallen asleep.

Akane didn't know what to feel at that moment, she didn't know if she was even allowed to feel anything. She was scared of what might become of her when things like this keep happening.

All her life she tried to only think of herself, to not care about other people. That was her way of keeping herself from getting hurt. She had walls after walls after walls to keep everyone out.

She didn't know how and she didn't know when but those walls were slowly crumbling and she could do nothing but just watch them fall.
