Kuina sighed as she kept knocking on Akane's door. She barely saw the girl anymore and was worried if she was even eating or not.

"You can't stay in there forever, y'know! Come on! We can eat lunch together and get wasted in the evening!"

Kuina's offer tempted Akane but she was still unsure if it was just Kuina outside. Just last night, she had opened the door for her only to see that Chishiya was also there just quietly standing.

"I'm sorry for last night, okay? He asked me to but I swear he's not with me today!" Kuina assured her. Sighing, Akane opened the door for her.

"Wow, I thought you'd be more like a wreck or something!" Kuina stated, seeing she was most likely pampering herself.

On the outside, Akane was perfectly fine as usual. She was freshly out of the shower and had a glowing look despite her 'moping around'. The outside just didn't reflect what she felt inside.

The truth was, she had gone back to her old self. The one she was before she came here. It wasn't like she forced herself to change back, it somehow happened naturally. It's been two days since then and she had finally decided it's time to get out more again.

Kuina was more than happy to pull her out of her room and lead her to the restaurant all the while holding her arms with hers.

"I haven't seen Chishiya much lately as well. It seems like he's also locked himself in his room." Kuina randomly said as they ate. She glanced at Akane who abruptly stopped eating but later on continued like she hadn't heard anything.

Kuina realized that Akane would only reply if it didn't involve Chishiya or Niragi. It was like the girl was dead set on ignoring those two. She frowned because they did a lot of damage to her, enough to make her put up her walls again. Kuina only hoped that she trusted her at least. Even she didn't know that Chishiya had something like that planned.

It was barely past 3 in the afternoon when the two girls walked into the bar. The place was still a little empty but they could have a drink anytime they wanted to so it was fine.

The two chatted like best friends seeing each other for the first time in a while, their laughs filling the place. A few people poured in as the hours go by. Before they even knew it, it was already nighttime.

The bar was packed with people now, Kuina and Akane enjoyed talking about the people there who were either drunk or doing the nasty on one of the couches.

Just then, a familiar guy came up to them and basically blinded them with his perfect smile. Akane realized that this was the guy that Arisu pointed to a couple of days ago.

"Hey, Kuina! Hey....Akane..." The guy got all nervous when he acknowledged her.

Akane didn't really have the nicest reputation here. She was a militant after all and although she hasn't been out that much, she still held a lot of power. Aguni had been kind enough to let her be by herself for sometime.

"Oh! You can sit there, Saeki!" Kuina motioned to the space on Akane's left side.

Saeki made sure not to get way too close to Akane, not wanting to make her uncomfortable. Kuina on her left side had a huge smile on her which Akane found really fishy.

"Oh! I'll go get more drinks!" Kuina suddenly shot out of her seat and practically ran to the direction of the bar counter.

Akane leaned back coolly and crossed her arms on her chest before turning to the guy who was awfully quiet.

"Hey, you got something going on with her?" Her voice was cool and steady. She could see that the guy was surprised.

"Oh, Kuina? Nah, we're just friends." Saeki was quick to dismiss it. Akane could see that somehow he was telling the truth.
