Akane gasped as his fingertips ran along the side of her neck. The marks she had there still hurt but she didn't want to say anything. She looked down, a bit nervous.

Again, Chishiya tilted her head to make her look at him. She closed her eyes as his lips touched her forehead. He wrapped his arms around her and just held her there. They were both silent for a while.

"I'm sorry for making you take off your clothes. I just want to hold you right now." Chishiya mumbled, his head buried at the crook of her neck.

Akane felt warm, like she made the right choice. Of course, she still had to tell Niragi to give up on her. What they had in the past, it won't affect her choice. They both changed too much that they just clash with each other. They don't fit anymore.

It was probably near 9pm when they heard knocking. Chishiya didn't want to move but he got up anyway, leaving Akane on the bed.
She was still wide awake, staring at Chishiya's back to her.

"Is Akane still there? I was sent out to get her."

On the other side of the door was Kuina who peeked behind Chishiya. Akane stood up and quickly put on her clothes because she had forgotten to put them back. To her relief, Kuina didn't see her as her attention was taken by Chishiya who was saying something to her.

Akane walked up to them and looked expectantly at Kuina who smirked at her.

"Aguni's looking for you. Hatter gave him another order or something." Kuina told her, she nodded.

Akane turned to Chishiya who raised an eyebrow at her.

"I have to go now, bye!" Akane hurriedly walked away, not wanting to be under his gaze for long. It made her stomach feel queasy.

Suddenly, she felt an arm wrap around her waist. The hand squeezed her side lightly making her gasp. She looked up at a smirking Chishiya.

"What? I'm coming with you." He flicked her forehead before looking ahead. She could hear Kuina laughing behind them.

"I'm glad you two finally got together. It's official, right? I mean life is so short, you two should just date."

They both looked at Kuina then looked at each other. Chishiya looked at her, expecting her to say something.

"Yeah, we're together now." Akane let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. It was weird to say that but somehow she was relieved.

Chishiya smiled at her and pulled her closer to him, kissing the top of her head. He was clearly overjoyed at what he heard. Kuina behind them couldn't help but feel giddy. They just looked too cute together.

When they got outside, they could see the militants right at the entrance of the hotel. Cars were already there at the ready. Before Akane could walk over to them, Chishiya had turned her to him and kissed her. He glanced behind her, making sure a certain someone saw.

All the militants looked at Niragi who was shaking his head at the sight. He had a diabolic grin. It didn't matter how much he put effort in changing, he still won't really be enough for her. But he didn't want to give up. He probably couldn't even if she told him to.

Finally, he had let go of her. She was a nervous wreck, her face gone all red. Chishiya watched as she turned to the other militants. Aguni raised his gun, telling her to bring hers.

Akane nodded and sprinted back to the hotel. Her gun was still in her room. When she finally got inside she quickly took off her clothes and wore shorts and a plain white shirt. She took off her flip flops, put on her rubber shoes and grabbed her gun before bolting out of there.
