Sadly, the ending is near. I can't decide whether to continue this following the manga or just end it altogether.

Time was ticking and they still had no clue who was the witch. A lot of bodies were already burned but none of them cleared the game. It was terrifying. Innocent people were dying. People were getting killed just so that they could live.
The borderlands were cruel, definitely cruel. Back then, Akane used to love the place. The thrill the games gave her made her feel more alive than when she was back in the real world.
Back then, she was thankful of getting sent here. She looked at Niragi and realized that something good came out of coming here. His presence soothed her despite the fucked up situation they were in.
His eyes were like the stars she had the luxury of watching earlier. This whole person was her entire galaxy.
A lot of people were panicking, pointing fingers to each other. The main suspect was the dead girl's best friend. Akane could see that she was indeed suspicious, that somehow she knew something that the rest of them don't.
Akane's throat tightened as she watched Niragi shoot a guy, all the while smiling. This added more panic to the people around them.
Most of the people ran away, screaming for their life as she stood there near Aguni who had a different aura around him. Akane realized just how much he was a good person, he had let go of Arisu just with a warning not to do anything like it again. She didn't know but Aguni treated her like his own daughter. Though if she was his daughter, he wouldn't let Niragi touch a single strand of her hair.
Akane was loyal to the militants, they were like her family but this game made them completely insane. It would be a lie if she said she didn't think the same way as them. For the sake of their life, they were ready to sacrifice everyone else. She just wished there was some other way of catching the witch.
Her eyes scanned the place, in search of Arisu. He was the most capable one to solve this game without killing more innocent people. As much as she didn't like most people here, it wouldn't do her any good to have more blood on her hands.
Aguni called out for Niragi and said something to him that she couldn't comprehend. It was probably about the people who just ran out of the hotel.
Niragi walked back to Akane, kissing her head before whispering to her.
"I'll meet you here later, okay? Keep safe." He kissed her cheek and smiled at her before walking away.
Akane already knew that Aguni had asked him to take care of the people outside, she wasn't stupid. She wanted to join him, never leaving his side just to know that he was safe but the other side of her didn't want to take part in this massacre.
She loved the thrill of pulling the trigger but these people were defenseless. It would hurt her morals and such if she went up to people and killed them just be because she can.
Chishiya watched them from above. He watched how Niragi walked up to Akane and kissed the top of her head and her cheek. He watched how her eyes closed and her lips formed a smile as he did so. He had never been so angry in his entire life.
It wasn't news to him that they were together now, news spread like wildfire here. But it still hit differently when he's actually seeing them like this in person. As if it didn't hurt enough.
