Akane groaned, her eyes fluttering open. The bus had turned on its side and she was lucky enough to be alive with all the cuts she got. Well, that was an exaggeration.

She looked around and saw the others in the same state as her and called out to them to see if they were alive.

"Hey! Pssst! You guys alive or what? Yoooo!" The ends of her mouth twitched upward as they groaned and moved. So they were alive, after all.

"Guys, hurry up. It's already noon."
Again, another exaggeration. It was late in the morning but definitely not noon. They tried the best they could to get up despite their aching bodies and helped each other in getting out.

Akane could barely manage her own weight even though she wasn't that heavy. It was a good thing she didn't bring her gun or it would have probably been useless by now.

"Well, it was a pleasure meeting you both again. You too buddy!" Of course, she didn't forget to acknowledge the one with the bad leg.

Everyone but her wore grim faces. Not that they expected her to grieve over the deaths of strangers to her. They simply looked as Akane walked out of their sight, not knowing where she was going.

As Akane walked, she felt every bit of her body cry. But she didn't want to lose her coolness so she pretended that she was in perfect condition. How bad would it be if the last thing they saw was her limping for her life?

She sighed when she realized that she probably had to explain why she wasn't back before sunlight. Akane felt her pockets and sighed in relief of the card. It wasn't really a high card but it was better than nothing.

The Beach was still far away and she felt like giving up at this point. She stopped walking and sat on the side of the road.

"I'm thirsty, I'm tired and I just want to lie in bed for a whole damn week." She said to herself with a groan.

The glass wall of a jewelry store behind her suddenly shattered. Her heart basically tried to get out of her ribcage at the sound. She was looking at the glass in shock, not having a single clue why that could have happened.

Her head snapped back in front of her and saw none other than Niragi who was putting his gun in the backseat of the car he was driving.

"Oh God, was this the angel you sent? You could've given me a better one, ya'know." She muttered.

But she was grateful nonetheless that a car had appeared in front of her. Akane didn't even have to think twice before entering the car.

There was a few minutes of silence as Niragi drove along the empty streets. Only a few minutes because Akane had a sudden realization. Maybe it was because of the game last night or something that she didn't notice or what.

"Did you fucking try to shoot me, you dick?!" She had turned to him at that moment, pissed and ready to smack him.

"You just fucking realized that now?" Niragi chuckled and shook his head, his eyes still on the road.

"You dick! You sick fuck! Let me off this car!" She kept hitting his shoulders, not even caring if they'll crash at some point.

"Stop! Fuck! I didn't try to shoot you! I just did that to get your attention, dumbass!" Niragi replied as he pulled over, not wanting to crash.

"Thank you and goodbye!" Akane dramatically said before getting out of the car, Niragi quickly following her movements.

"Oh come on, princess! Don't make me come and get you!" He yelled after her. She was really walking away.
