Teacher Gilinsky Part XIX
Song of the chapter: This by Ed Sheeran
Wednesday —
I woke up to the aroma of maple doughnuts and coffee set on a foldable table on my lap. I smiled as I read the note, his messy half-awake handwriting.
Good morning beautiful. Hope your coffee is still hot when you read this. I love you. Come find me when you’re done eating, Love Jack.
The coffee was still hot, he knew my favorite blend, San Fransisco french roast, peppermint creamer, and two sugar in the raw. The doughnuts were delicious as well. I carefully moved the table off my lap, careful to not spill the drop of coffee left in the cup. I pulled Jack’s tee shirt from last night off the floor and over my head. I pulled my hair into a messy ponytail, damn, I need to take a shower. I stalked down the stairs to see Jack leaning across the counter, shirtless, reading the news paper and drinking his coffee.
“Good morning.” I whispered into the warm skin of his neck, nuzzling my cold nose into the crease.
“Good morning to you too, beautiful.” He held his hands over mine, which were right above his belly button. He set the paper down and turned towards me, his lips finding mine. His hands held my neck as we kissed, his tongue making small kitten licks, as if he were licking an ice cream cone. He lifted me onto the counter when our kiss became more heated, his shirt moved up to my waist when his hands slid under it, his hold on me causing a fire to ignite everywhere he touched. His lips parted from mine, his faze nuzzled into my neck.
“Mmmm, good morning to me.” He giggled, his voice still raspy from just waking up.
“I need to shower,” I grimaced. “And brush my teeth.”
“You smell fine.” He groaned into my neck.
“Tell that to my armpits.” I said as I hopped off the counter. I walked into the guest bathroom, him following me. I started the shower, the hot water immediately steaming the mirror.
I undressed, him sitting on the lid of the toilet, watching me undress. I stepped into the shower, him immediately in tow.
“What are you doing? Get your own shower.” I groaned, his laughing and holding my hips, my back to him.
“It’s called conserving water. You’re gonna use all the hot water, so we might as well share.” He said, grabbing some of his soap that was left in this bathroom.
“And I’ll take every chance I get to see you naked.” He smiled against my skin, his lips pressing a light feathery kiss against my neck, which had shampoo dripping down it.
I rinsed my head under the stream, making sure to get all of the suds out, before adding conditioner.
“You look tense baby. What’s wrong?” He rubbed some dove soap into my shoulders and back, gently massaging as he talked.
