[Chapter 2 - Just Friends]

Ikki woke up at 5 am just to prepare Huan's room. She chose a green wallpaper for the wall, black furniture and a big bed for him.

Normally, Mika should make rooms because she was the servant but for Huan, Ikki wanted to do her best.

"Mika, can you go to Ryan to ask him if he could make some spicy food for huan? "

" Of course,Milady. " the servant said with a smile on her face

Ryan was the cook, he was tall with black hair and golden eyes, he was heavy and serious all the time compared to Mika who was a happy woman with long blonde hair and green eyes, she was short but energic. She was 40, she was one of Pema's friends and Ryan was 30, Ikki's family didn't know him so good but he had great skills.

Ikki went to change her clothes into something that Huan give her.

The airbender looked gorgeous in that black dress. She let her hair down and she put some makeup on her face.

When Mika come after her she looked like a princess.

"He would be impressed. "

" What? "

" C'mon, Master Ikki, I know you had a crush on him. "

" N-no. " Ikki said blushing

Mika ran at Huan to help him with his bags but before that she looked at Ikki with that face - you can't fool me, I know you like him-.

Ikki giggled.

When the airbender went closer to Huan, he was feeling strange. Two years ago Ikki looked childish, now she looked like a beautiful young lady.

Huan started to shiver when Ikki was in front of him.

"What? You're not hugging me? "Ikki said with a smile on her face

" U-um. "

" C'mon. " she said hugging him tightly.

" Ikki. "

" I missed you, Huan. "

" I missed you too, sweetheart. "

" Awe. Didn't they make such a cute couple?"Mika said to Ryan

" I heard that! " Ikki said holding Huan's hand while they were walking towards his new room.

Mika and Ryan grabbed all his stuff and they went after those two friends.

" So you like it? "Ikki asked enthusiastic

" You chose it, didn't you? "

" Yes. "

" I don't like it. "

" What? In that case I can made to prepare another room for- wait, why you're laughing? "

Huan couldn't act very good so he started to laugh uncontrollable. His face went red.

" Huan. " Ikki tried to stay serious but she couldn't.

" OK ok sorry, Ikki. " he said wiping tears from his eyes

" So? "

" I love it. " he said placing a kiss on her cheek

" Awww. "

" Mika go help Ryan with dinner. " Ikki said

" but dinner is ready. " Ryan answered

" fine then go at check Juice. "

" Oh you want privacy " Mika grinned

" Go away! "

Ikki looked at Huan and he smirked.

" Privacy? "he said rising an eyebrows

" Oh shut up Mr. Beifong. "

" Fine, Mrs. beifong. "

" Stop it. "

" Oh c'mon. You had a crush on me since you were 13."

"You're wrong. " she said

" No, I'm not. "

" Yea. You are! " she shouted

" OK, sorry for disturbing you. "

The airbender master didn't look at him, she just turned around and leave.

They ate the dinner in silence, Mika and Ryan knew that something happend but that wasn't their business.

" So what do you want to built here? " Huan asked

" I don't know, yet. First time I want to make this place to look more... Confortabile. "

" Good idea. "

That was all they talked during the dinner.

Ikki helped Mika to wash the dishes and Ryan brought food for Juice.

Huan went outside and he stared at the moon until near him was another person. An old friend, a girl, an airbender, a master, Ikki.

He looked at her. She was so beautiful, her dress was his gift and it looked gorgeous on her. Her hair grow so much and her tattoos were lovely.

"I have something on my face? "she said blushing.

" N-no."

"Then why were you looking at me? "

" Because you're gorgeous. "

" Huan.. "

" Hm? "

" Sorry for shouting at you. It's just that.. I grow up and now everything it's so strange and I want to be your friend. "

" You're my friend already. "

" But when I'm looking at you I can't control my feelings for you and I'm afraid. "

" Afraid? "

" to fell for you. "

" Oh. "

" And you know what? "

" What? "

" It's to late. "

" What? "

" I'm already in love with you. And I can't. Now I have to rebuild this .. I can't. "

" Huan.. "

" Ikki, look I-" he didn't finish to talk because her lips were on his.

"Look, Huan. I like you. I like you a lot. But know things are confusing, we have to stay friends. "

" Sure, Ikki. "

" Thanks. "she said when a tear fell down

" Don't cry, I'm here. " he said hugging his love

In that moment everything else died. His family didn't matter, her parents didn't count, there were just two people in love who couldn't be together.
