The journey of a broken heart (hukki, Lok)

[Chapter 7 - Already Broken]

Ikki was 15 and she was still with her family living on the air island near Republic City. They had visitors, the Beifong family. Huan was there too so the airbender master was sitting in the garden. She had a crush on him since she was little and back in that day Ikki was blushing every time when Huan looked at her.

" You're busy?" a husky voice asked

Ikki turned around to see

a curious Huan looking at her with his beautiful eyes.

" Um... no. " the girl said blushing

" What are you doing here?"

" I...wanted to be alone for a little time. "

" Oh. "

" But don't leave, I like your company. "

Huan blushed a little.

" Ikki?"

" Yes?"

" You like someone, don't you?"

" Uh-what?"

" I mean you're always blushing and you seem so in love..."

" Um, maybe I had a crush on someone but nothing more. "

" Really, why?"

" He's too old for me. "

" You think that?"

" No, but everyone else yes. "

" Don't let them influence you. "

" Mhm. It's hard when you have a dad like Tenzin. "

" It's hard when you have a mom like Suyin too, but that doesn't stop me. "

" I see, " she said looking at his green hair " Okay then I promise you that one day I'll be with the one I had a crush on. "

" Cool," he said smiling

Ikki saw the imagine with Huan and herself blurring and she woke up. She saw her whole family - Tenzin, Meelo, Rohan, Jinora, Kai,Lin,Pema,Kya, Bumi,Huan and that earthbender around her. She was in a big white bed, in a hospital. Everyone looked sadly at her and she knew it that something was wrong.

" Ikki, I'm glad you're okay!" Rohan said running at her, he wanted to hug her, but he couldn't, a lot of apparatus were around her and her whole right side was covered in a bandage.

" What happened?"

" Y-you saved m-my life. " the earthbender spoke lowly

" Oh...I c-can remember, " ikki affirmed

" Why?" she asked

" B-b-because it w-was your w-wedding " Ikki answered, crying.

In the room was a deep silence. Everyone looked at her, but only 4 persons could understand her. Rohan because he was her little brother and he knew it that his sister would do anything to keep Huan happy, Kya because her auntie would do the same for her love, Lin because she was in the same situation and Huan because he knew it that Ikki wanted him to be happy.

Accidentally, Ikki looked in the mirror that hung on the wall and she screamed when she saw her reflection. Half of her body was covered in bandages and on the other side of her face were scars and on her left arm was a deep cut. She tried to move her body, but she couldn't so she panicked again.
