Courtney's pov;
I put my shoes on, and head downstairs.
I woke up slightly earlier today, not because I was doing anything in particular, just because I couldn't sleep due to what happened last night.
Dylan knows Zack's here.
He beat the living daylights out of him.
He offered to stay with me last night, but my mum doesn't even know we're dating yet, she still thinks we're just friends, so it would be a bit awkward asking her.
When I go downstairs mums listening to the radio.
She puts one finger to her lips, telling me to shush because she's listening.
I wonder what she's listening to, so I listen in.
'A 17 year old female has gone missing near Abbott Road. She went missing last night, and police are out looking for her.'
"That's in our area!" Mum says.
"Oh my god. I thought nothing happened in our neighbourhood!" I exclaim.
"Well, be extra careful going to school today, I'm going to be walking Zoe halfway to her school because I'm off work today." Mum says to me.
"I will, and okay mum. I'll see you later." I say before hugging her and leaving to go to school.
Dylan offered to take me to school today, so I text Ellie to tell her Dylan was taking me in.
I walked outside and saw his car parked up.
I got in and kissed him.
"Morning beautiful, you feeling any better?" He asks me.
"Not really. But I guess I am a little bit, because I'm with you." I smile.
"Aw baby." Dylan says whilst placing his hand on my thigh.

I sat in history with Josh and Alex, and we were all so bored.
"Did you hear about that missing girl on the radio this morning?" Josh asked me and Alex.
"I did, I wonder who it is. She went missing in my neighbourhood so I might know who she is." I say.
"You might do. I hope they find her though, there's some right weirdos in New York." Alex says.
"Like you." Josh says to Alex and I laugh.
"That's mean." Alex pouts.
"Aw bless." I say to Alex and ruffle his hair.
"Let's change the subject. How's you and Dylan?" Alex asks me.
"We're good thanks." I reply.
"Have you had sex with him yet?" Josh asks and I choke on air.
"No!" I say, and they both burst out laughing.
"Oh really? Why have you gone bright red then?" Alex asks.
"Because you're embarrassing me!" I say.
"It would only be embarrassing if it was true, so basically what you're saying is that you have had sex with him!" Josh exclaims.
"Fine yes I have! But shut up! Don't tell people!" I say and they both smirk.
"Is he good in bed?" Josh ask.
"I'm not answering that!" I yell.
"He looks like he is. He has a good hip structure." Alex says and me and Josh both burst out laughing.
"Good hip structure?" I laugh.
"Yeah! He does!" Alex tries to defend himself.
"Weirdo." I smirk at him.

Finally lunchtime!
I find my usual seat and sit with Oli, Alex, Josh and Dylan.
"Hey guys." I say to them.
"Hey Courtney." Oli says and I fist bump him.
That's our handshake thing because we're so cool like that.
"Hello again Courtney." Alex grins at me.
"Yes hello again Courtney." Josh grins at me.
"Shut up you two." I say and they both smirk.
"Hey baby." Dylan hugs me.
"Hey Love." I hug him back.
"Have any of you seen Ellie today?" I text her this morning but she didn't reply.
"I think she's ill." Oli replied.
"She usually never replies to texts when she's ill because she just can't be bothered." Alex says.
"Sounds like her." I say and everyone laughs.
"Shall we go round there after school and tell her we hope she gets better?" Josh suggests.
"I was gonna go round there anyways, so you guys can come with me if you want?" Oli offers.
"Yeah okay." I reply.
"Yeah sure." Alex and Josh say.
"You coming Dylan?" I ask him.
"Ugh do I have to? I hate her." He says and I roll my eyes.
"You love her really." I say.
"Ew no." He smirks.
"I love you though." He says.
"I love you too." I reply.

We get into Oli's car and drive to Ellie's.
I rush out of Oli's car, and run to the door.
I just want to see my best friend.
It's been a day and I'm already dying without her.
The boys join me and I knock on the door.
Ellie's stepdad answers the door.
"Hi Mark." Oli says to him.
"Oh hello Oli." He replys.
"Is Ellie in?" I cut in their conversation, eager to see my best friend.
"I think you had better come in." Mark says and we all step inside.
As we walk in, Ellie's mum is crying on the sofa.
"Amanda!" Oli yells and rushes over to her mum.
"What's wrong?" He hugs her.
Ellie and Oli have been dating for ages, so Oli is comfortable with her family.
"Ellie is-" She starts saying but trails off, because she's crying so much.
"What's happened to Ellie?!" I demand.
I swear to god if something bads happened to her, I will flip shit.
"She's-she's the girl who's gone missing." Her mother says in between cries.
My heart sunk.
My best friend has gone missing.
Unable to move, I collapse on the floor in tears.
