Kenedi
"You little bitch!" I walk right up to Owen and hit his arm.

"Ow! What was that for?!"

"You've been thinking about proposing and never told me!" He cringes pissing me off even more.

"How did you find out?" I rest my hand on my hip just looking at him. Did he really just ask that? "Oh. I swear I'm going to murder Charlie." I roll my eyes sighing.

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"I didn't want to take away from you and Charlie's moment. This is a big deal for the both of you."

"But it's a big deal for you and Sofia, Owen! I wouldn't be upset, I promise." He sighs sitting back down on the couch. "Where's Sofia?"

"She and Heer are over at Madi's working on all of their wedding gifts for you and Charlie."

"I told them not to get me anything!"

"Does it look like they listened?"

"No." I sigh sitting down next to him. "Spill."

"Spill what?"

"Everything! How long have you been thinking about proposing?"

"Since I gave her the promise ring. I'm still glad I gave it to her, but I couldn't stop thinking that it doesn't feel right. It still doesn't feel right to have a ring on her finger and not be able to actually call her mine."

"So why didn't you just propose?"

"I don't know...what if she thinks it's too soon? Or what if she doesn't want to get married yet? What if she has goals to accomplish before she gets married?"

"Dude. Who cares about time? You love her. She loves you. Just do what makes you happy okay?"

"I know but-"

Your Best Friend is Calling to the tune of The Temptations starts playing and I know it's Sofia calling me. I hold a finger up to Owen telling him to give me a minute.

"Hey Sof." It's silent for a minute.

"Kenedi, Sofia needs you now."

"What? What's wrong?" I sit up hearing how panicked Heer sounds.

"She's refusing to talk to me or Madi. The only thing she keeps saying is Kenedi."

"Did something happen?"

"I don't really know. She went to the bathroom and hasn't come out since. She was fine going into the bathroom though which makes me even more nervous. We tried opening the door, but she locked it and she's crying."

"Oh my god. Should I bring Owen?"

"I don't know. Maybe not? Wait are you with him now?"

"Yeah."

"Ask if something happened between them." I look at Owen confused. He would've said if something bad happened.

"Did something happen between you and Sofia?"

"No?" I stand up quickly and yell to Owen over my shoulder running out the door.

"We'll talk later!" I get in my car talking to Heer. "I'm on my way. He said nothing happened."

"I have no clue what's going on, but I don't think it's good."

"I'll be there in two minutes. Keep talking to her so she doesn't do something stupid."

"I'm putting you on speaker. Talk to her." I chew on my lip nervously waiting a second to make sure I'm on speaker.

"Sofia? Babe, it's me okay? I'm on my way right now. Just listen to my voice okay?" I hear nothing but silence. I wasn't really expecting for her to say anything, but the silence is worrying me even more. "I love you. So much. Nothing will ever stop that."

"She stopped crying." Madi whispers. I don't know if that's really a good thing.

I start speeding up going way over the speed limit, but at this moment, I don't really care. Sofia needs me.

"I'm parking now okay? I'm almost there." I pull into a parking spot not even caring that I'm in between two parking spots. I start running up the stairs which is proof in itself of just how much I love Sofia. I don't run for anyone.

I've never even ran for Charlie.

"I'm here okay? I'm here." I walk into the apartment immediately heading to the bathroom. "How is she?"

"She hasn't opened the door and she still won't talk to either of us." Madi's statement makes me swallow hard. I can't even begin to explain how terrified I am of what's happening on the other side of the door right now.  I hang up the phone and whisper quietly through the door.

"I'm right here, Sof. Open the door and let me in." I stand there for a minute before talking again. "Please just let me in. I need to see that you're okay."

I hear some shuffling before the door cracks open. I walk in closing the door behind me and feel my eyes water seeing how upset she is.

Her eyes are red and puffy. Her nose is running and her mascara is smeared. Her hair is all over the place and I can smell vomit lingering in the air. The only time I've seen her cry was when she thought Derek died in Teen Wolf.

Neither one of us say anything. She walks straight into my arms silently crying. This is really different for us. Normally she's the one comforting me while I'm crying.

I lean back against the door and slowly slide down it still holding her. I don't even know what to say.

"Do you want to talk about what happened?" She shakes her head no. "Okay. We don't have to talk. We can just sit here." She doesn't say anything making me sigh.

Whatever is going on must be really bad. She normally talks her feelings out.

We sit in silence for what feels like hours but in all reality was probably only about twenty minutes.

"I'm sorry." Her voice is a whisper, but I still hear it.

"Babe, you have nothing to be sorry for. At all. No matter what happened - no matter what you did." I hold her face up looking into her eyes while resting my forehead against hers. "You're my best friend. That means you're stuck with me." She smiles lightly making me smile.

"I love you." I gently wipe away her tears kissing her forehead.

"I love you. I'm not going to push, but I would like to know what happened." She hesitates then pulls something out from her back pocket keeping it behind her back.

"Promise you won't get mad at me?"

"I promise as long as you didn't do something stupid."

"Define stupid." I raise an eyebrow at her.

"Cheating on Owen or hurting yourself."

"I would never cheat on Owen." I sigh shakily figuring she probably did something to hurt herself in some way.

"And you'd never hurt yourself, right?" She doesn't say anything making me frown. "Sofia-"

"It wasn't anything major. I just hit my head on the wall a few times." Now I'm really concerned.

"What the hell happened, Sof?" She hesitantly hands me a pregnancy test. I look down at it confused then look up to her shocked.

Positive.
